| Bimo culture is the core of traditional Yi culture and the wisdom of the Yi people.It is the reflection of the conceptual awareness,thinking patterns and spiritual beliefs of the Yi people and is all-encompassing and profound.The art of Bimo culture of Liangshan Yi is an expression of Bimo culture,meanwhile,as a national intangible cultural heritage,it is also an important part of the Chinese national cultural heritage.In this thesis,Bimo culture art of Liangshan Yi is taken as the object of study.By analyzing its artistic characteristics and cultural connotations,and combining theories related to image narratives,exploring the feasibility of design transforming of the Bimo culture art of Liangshan Yi.Summarize the image narrative strategy suitable for the design transformation of Bimo culture art of Liangshan Yi,and design practice based on it.First of all,The article comb and summarize the relevant contents of Bimo culture art of Liangshan Yi and the theory of image narrative,respectively.It also analyzes the feasibility of image narrative in the design of Bimo culture art of Liangshan Yi.The art of Bimo culture mainly deals with the material carriers of Bimo paintings,paper-cuttings,clay sculptures,grass puppets and Bimo’s magic tools;And the four spiritual references of belief in ghosts,animism,belief in gods and belief in ancestor;In the discussion on image narratives,it is centered on three aspects: overview of image narratives,nature of image narratives and categories of image narratives.Secondly,based on the relevant literature review and theoretical research,image narrative design strategies appropriate to the Bimo cultural art of Liangshan Yi are summarized.The narrative strategy can be summarized into four steps,which are the determination of narrative content,consideration of narrative form,visual representation of narrative and application of narrative method.Finally,the design practice was completed based on the image narrative strategies distilled from the summary.The theme of this practice is the beliefs of gods in the Bimo culture of Liangshan Yi,and the legendary storie of the gods and heroes "Zhige Alu",is chosen as the narrative content according to the theme;For the sake of narrative flow,a non-focused narrative perspective and a chronological plotting approach were chosen,and the story was summarized into 19 episodes based on the selected narrative content;The visual representation of the image narrative design is then completed in three aspects: application of artistic features,color design and design of symbolic elements,respectively;The three narrative methods of moment,thematic juxtaposition narrative and cause-effect and temporal juxtaposition narrative are applied to complete the image narrative design of the Bimo cultural art of Liangshan Yi,and expand the derivatives design on this basis.This study is based on the theory of image narrative to design transform the Bimo cultural art of Liangshan Yi.To a certain extent,it has enriched the expression of culture art,and injected new vitality into the inheritance and development of the Bimo culture art of Liangshan Yi;At the meanwhile,the visual and comprehensible nature of the image narrative is also conducive to the dissemination and promotion of the Bimo cultural art of Liangshan Yi;In addition,this study on the strategies and practices of design translation of image narratives in the Bimo culture art of Liangshan Yi,can also provide strategic references for other ethnic groups or regions in applying image narrative theory to complete design translation of cultural art. |
