Nanqishu Yuezhi was written by Xiao Zixian in one volume during the Liang Dynasty of the Southern Dynasty.With historical development as the background,Nanqishu Yuezhi from the national level recorded the court music and dance Song lyrics of Southern Qi,music history,music discussion,music instruments supporting music songs,as well as the discussion on the production of the main court music songs of the previous dynasty.It is one of the precious documents closest to the Southern Qi era and has high historical value.But because of the long time,the matter is specialized,has always been difficult to solve,is a great pity.This paper intends to make an in-depth annotation on Nanqishu Yuezhi.It mainly includes the introduction,the features of the rites and music song lyrics of the Southern Qi Dynasty,and the annotation.The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the basic situation of the Nanqishu Yuezhi.It includes the style,content and value of the Book of Nanqishu Yuezhi,the research status and reflection of Nanqishu Yuezhi.The style and content of Nanqishu Yuezhi mainly refer to the writing mode of Songshu Yuezhi,but there are also some innovations.In terms of style,Nanqishu Yuezhi created a writing mode that took the nature of etiquette as the classification standard and placed music history and music songs under the corresponding music categories respectively.In terms of content,it focuses on the collection of song lyrics of the Southern Qi movement,pays attention to the corresponding relationship between songs and instruments,and records the changes of song lyrics in detail.No recording of song lyrics of new music,Xianghe Sandiao and Guchui Qv.Some details not contained in Songshu Yuezhi are added to,increasing discussion,reflecting the emphasis on the number of number of words and rhythm of music songs.The edition collation of Nanqishu Yuezhi has been relatively perfect,and Zhonghuashujuxiudingben Nanqishu is the masterpiece.But there are still some shortcomings.The second part discusses the writing characteristics of the rites and music song lyrics of Southern Qi.Only with a clear understanding of the creative characteristics of the rites and music song lyrics of Southern Qi can we better understand and annotate the Book of Nanqishu Yuezhi.The whole feature of Nanqi songs is that while borrowing from the old music of the previous generation,they compose new songs themselves.The creation of music song lyrics has three characteristics.One is to make the content of each song lyrics correspond to the specific etiquette ceremony,forming a certain writing mode.The second is to reduce the length of each song,so that it can be played flexibly with the detailed ritual.The third is the comprehensive application of the Jin and Song the rites and music song lyrics of addition and deletion method,copy method,self-practice and other creative methods.Although half of the rites and music song lyrics of Southern Qi followed the Jin and Song dynasties,they did not simply add,delete and change,but established the creation principles corresponding to specific rituals and songs.While clarifying the functions of music and songs,the etiquette system was improved,so that music and songs were closely linked together.The third part makes a detailed annotation on Nanqishu Yuezhi.The annotation is based on Zhonghuashujuxiudingben Nanqishu,focusing on the difficult points and the clearing of the text,highlighting the cultural connotation of music and rites reflected in Nanqishu Yuezhi as a unique music document.As for the music history in Yuezhi,the annotation focus on the exploration of the creation background,time,author,creation process,spread and evolution of music and songs,and try to restore the application of music and dance in ceremonial ceremonies and its performance form.As for the part of song lyrics in Yuezhi,the commentary focuses on the origin of the text,the examination of the creation tradition of Yuefu poems and the food,utensils,clothes,rituals and other rites involved in the music and songs.This paper will further interprets the true meaning of music,songs and music history through detailed annotation on Nanqishu Yuezhi.In Nanqishu Yuezhi,Xiao Zixian used a large number of songs and instruments of the Southern Qi dynasty as the carrier,combined with his elaboration on the music history of the Southern Qi Dynasty,to describe the overall appearance of the national rites and music of the Southern Qi Dynasty,and at the same time tried to show the general vein of the development and inheritance of Chinese rites and music culture for thousands of years from the Zhou Dynasty to the Southern Qi.It can be said that the annotation of the Book of Nanqishu Yuezhi helps to better uncover the veil of Chinese rites and music civilization,which has a relatively important significance.
