Illustration Design Of Traditional Twenty-Four Solar Terms

Twenty-four solar terms are an important part of China traditional culture,representing the production,life and festivals of ancient agricultural society.Through in-depth study and exploration of the 24 solar terms,we can not only promote the inheritance and development of traditional culture,but also enlighten contemporary people’s cultural cognition and provide ideological and spiritual support for the development of the times.This paper first summarizes the characteristics and cultural background of the 24 solar terms,and on this basis,deeply analyzes the cultural elements and spiritual connotations.On this basis,we screen,design and re-create the cultural elements of solar terms,skillfully integrate animal and plant elements and modern elements into illustration design,and show the beauty of solar terms culture through distinctive colors and artistic forms,which has aroused contemporary people’s interest and understanding of traditional culture.In addition,we also discussed the new forms and new applications of solar terms culture in China modern society,such as the application and promotion in cultural and creative industries,which injected new impetus into cultural inheritance and development.Such exploration and innovation can not only promote the development of cultural industry,but also help to explore the connotation and value of traditional culture,and contribute to the promotion of cultural self-confidence and national cultural soft power.To sum up,this paper presents the 24 solar terms culture in front of modern people through illustration design,which not only helps to inherit and carry forward traditional culture,but also provides useful reference and enlightenment for cultural innovation and the development of the times.
