Musical Characteristics And Performance Analysis Of Zhang Zhao’s Piano Solo "HuaYi Dance"

With the constant change of times,many outstanding composers and music works have emerged in our country.And Zhang Zhao,as one of the most active music composers of contemporary times,lived and grew up in Yunnan,influenced and infected by minority music.Inspired by the natural scenery and local customs of Yunnan,Zhang Zhao created many music works with Yunnan ethnic style.Among them,the piano solo "Dance of Hua Yi" was published by Zhang Zhao in 2015,and created with the musical elements of the flower waist branch of the Yi ethnic group in Yunnan.Meanwhile,it also integrates western composing techniques,giving the work a strong ethnic flavor and distinct ethnic style.This paper is mainly divided into three parts to study the work,the first chapter introduces the author and the background of the work,and briefly analyzes the composition structure of the work;The second chapter explores the application of rhythm and melody characteristics of Yi music in the works.Finally,the third chapter analyzes the melody line processing,speed and strength control,ethnic characteristics,pedal application and accent mark of the works in combination with my own performance practice.The author mainly explores the works from two aspects: characteristics of folk music and performance analysis.Combining with the author’s own experience and understanding,through analysis and exploration,the author interprets the works and grasps the music emotion contained in them.At the same time,it hopes to be helpful to the players who love Chinese folk piano works.
