Analysis Of Zhang Zhao’s Piano Work "Chinese Dream"

Zhang Zhao’s piano piece "Chinese Dream" is one of the modern Chinese piano works which combines ancient Chinese traditional culture with Western musical elements.The whole music is a single theme.Combined with the traditional Chinese pentatonic mode,with the help of western piano music language,the music elements of "Bianzhong" and "Guqin" in ancient Chinese traditional music culture are re created and presented,so that the Chinese dream from ancient times can be inherited from generation to generation,and the ancient Chinese music culture can go to the world with a long history.This paper begins with the introduction of the composer and the background of his works,and analyzes the structure,harmony and theme of his works.And combined with their own playing and learning experience,from the perspective of piano playing teaching,this paper summarizes the multi part melody,special timbre,fast running,tremolo,pedal performance processing.
