Hu Juren,a master of Neo-Confucianism in the Ming Dynasty,lived with the faith of "Esteem" all his life and had profound attains in neo-Confucianism.At the same time,he also has a high achievement in the field of the poetry,his poems can reflect his efforts to revive the learning of sages to a certain extent.And 112 poems are left by Hu Juren.The number of poems is small,but there are some excellent works with both feelings and words.The creation of the style of his poetry has got rid of the low and superfluous style of the Taige Ti,and also,can express the author’s true feelings.However,throughout the academic circle,the research on Hu Juren mainly focuses on the aspects of neo-Confucianism and pedagogy,and the the number of the researches on his literature is very limited,and the articles specializing in his poetry creation are very few.Therefore,there is still a lot of space for research on Hu Juren’s poetry.Hu Juren,one of the four greatest Confucian scholars enshrined in the Confucian Temple in the Ming Dynasty,has incomparable cultural connotation in his poems.Taking Hu Juren’s poems as an example to teach Chinese ancient poems as a foreign language can not only strengthen students’ learning of Chinese language and cultivate their sense of Chinese language,but also help students to draw enthusiasm and motivation for further study from the traditional culture reflected in his poems and can help get a better understand on the spiritual core of the Chinese nation.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly sorts out the research status of Hu Juren in academia and introduces the purpose,significance and methods of this research.The second part examines Hu Juren’s life and academic thoughts,using the records of Hu Juren in official history,genealogy,local Chronicles and other documents,and combining with the existing research results in the academic circle,examines Hu Juren’s life track.Through the study of "Ju Ye Lu",we can clarify the content of Hu Juren’s academic thought,so as to lay a foundation for the study of poetry.the poetics thought of neo-Confucianism,attached great importance to the educational function of poetry.The third part is the study of Hu Juren’s poetry,Hu Juren followed the neo-Confucianist’s poetic thought of "poetic temperament" and "poetic enlightenment".Through the close reading of Hu Juren’s poetry,the author classified and studied his poetry,analyzed his poetic thought and artistic characteristics,and tried to have a deeper understanding and thinking of Hu Juren’s poetic thought.The fourth part takes Hu Juren’s poem "Chu ye yin" as an example to design the intermediate teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.As a Chinese learner,"Chu ye yin" is concise in language and simple in structure,which is permeated with the elements of traditional Chinese New Year’s Eve culture.It can export Neo-Confucianism culture,teach the truth and teach through lively activities while stimulating the interest in learning.The last part is the conclusion,which mainly summarizes the whole research.The appendix is Hu Juren’s annotated notes,which interprets the key words and thoughts of his poems.In a word,Hu Juren’s poems are natural and mellow,permeating the changes of society and shining the light of Neo-Confucianism,which has certain guiding significance for the teaching and research of Chinese as a foreign language.
