The nation needs to be revitalized,and the countryside must be revitalized.The issue of agriculture,rural areas,and farmers is regarded as the number one document of the central government every year,which is sufficient to demonstrate the important position of rural development in building a prosperous,strong,democratic,civilized,harmonious,and beautiful socialist modern country.Developing sports and building a strong sports country is also an indispensable part of the great cause of the new era.The development of rural sports is not only related to rural revitalization,but also a fundamental link in the implementation of the national fitness strategy in China’s sports industry.Strengthening the physical fitness of all citizens and developing rural sports culture are naturally essential for achieving a socialist sports power.Basketball,as one of the most widely popular mass sports in China,is easy to build in both urban and rural areas with low entry difficulty.Therefore,since basketball entered China,it has always had an atmosphere of national participation.The outdoor stadium,the villagers watching,and unprofessional players,these seemingly amateur but passionate elements are enough to support the basic conditions for the competition to unfold.This documentary is based on the shooting of a rural basketball team in Chenghuang Temple Village,Guanhaiwei Town,Cixi,Ningbo City,and tells the story of this rural basketball team from a rural daily perspective.The main character line of Zheng Jiawei,a college graduate,runs through the scene of the thriving development of the Chenghuang Temple team from its birth to today.Through Zheng Jiawei’s character line,the story tells about the cause of the team’s birth,the founder of the team,the team investors,and the emotional attitudes of his family and teammates towards the team.This film has visited Guanhaiwei Town,many sports venues in Chenghuang Temple Village,and contacted and talked with many rural players.By shooting and training,daily life,character dialogue,and humanistic style,we aim to present the local style and sports culture in a three-dimensional manner.The purpose of this film is to arouse more sports stories that are happening in the countryside by documenting the basketball team of Chenghuang Temple Village,hoping to contribute to the promotion of rural sports culture.Through the creation of this documentary,the focus is on conveying to the audience the current situation of rural sports represented by rural basketball.The main focus is on the problems faced during the development of rural sports,as well as the love of the rural masses for basketball and sports.On the one hand,there are objective problems,and on the other hand,through these problems,we can still see the grassroots people’s yearning for sports.This most simple yearning and local sentiment is a temperature worth conveying for us,and has very important practical significance for the current rural revitalization and national fitness strategy.
