With the development of Internet technology,information dissemination has become a process of common participation of various modes,and the communication mode between teachers and students is also constantly changing with the development of technology and academic ideas.In the field of education,dynamic multi-modal videos represented by micro-courses are widely popular with the advantages of prominent theme,short and concise,and easy online communication.As a new video learning method produced in the era of picture reading,multi-modal micro-mode has a broad application prospect in the field of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.Many excellent works of the National Graduate Chinese Micro-course Competition have been applied to the actual classroom teaching,but achieve better teaching efficiency,the current construction of micro-course resources may be a little lacking,and how to create excellent micro-course has also become an important research issue.This paper is based on the multi-modal discourse analysis theory,select the prize of the fourth graduate Chinese teaching micro-course contest.Firstly,the paper uses ELAN to statistics and analysis the modal symbol of the micro-course,proved good micro-course is how to choose the modal symbol to get some characteristics of the modal selection.Secondly,two micro-courses are selected to make statistics on the modal relationship,and then,investigate how the modal relationship and each mode interact to construct the significance.Finally,the paper tries to put forward some suggestions for micro-course design and Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language teachers from the perspective of multi-mode choice and application,hoping to help Chinese teachers bring the advantages of each modal symbol into full play in the process of micro-course design and practical teaching.The results show that: First,the micro-course mainly involves two sensory channels—Visual and Hearing.Visual modality includes the text of language symbols and fonts accompanying words,color changes and images of non-verbal symbols,animations,tables and posture language,etc.Hearing modality includes the teacher voice of verbal symbols and the background music and sound effects of non-verbal symbols.Micro-courses are mainly based on linguistic modalities,supplemented on non-verbal modalities,and micro-courses have the characteristics of consistency,richness and difference in the use of modal symbols.Second,the relationship between modalities is mostly a reinforcement relationship,which is emphasize teaching content,and the modal relationship is mainly based on positive superposition;strengthening prominence,strengthening primary and secondary and non-strengthening coordination are common modal relationships in micro-course.Based on this,the principle of mode selection should be followed in the production of micro-class,with the language mode as the main and the non-language mode as the auxiliary,pay attention to the mode coordination,choose to strengthen the mode relationship,and play the mode synergy role.
