A Study On Human Body Quantifiers In Zhuang Language

With the rise of cognitive linguistics based on experiential philosophy,there has been a strong interest in human body words in the academic community.In the study of human body words in Zhuang language,human body nouns are a hot topic of academic attention,while the study of human body quantifiers is rarely mentioned.Therefore,the article takes 18 human body quantifiers as the research object.The paper uses the methods of field research,literature retrieval,description and interpretation,and cognitive linguistics.After sorting out the names and classifications of human quantifiers,the paper focuses on examining the grammar and semantics of human quantifiers.The combination function and sentence component function of human body quantifiers are basically consistent with the usage of ordinary classifiers.The morphology of human parts or organs,the function of human parts or organs,the significance of human parts or organs in the cognitive process,and the distance between human parts or organs and cognitive objects are the main sources of the meaning of human quantity words.Experience,physical experience,environment,and culture are the cognitive basis for the generation of the meaning of human quantity words.Similarity and correlation are the internal mechanisms for generating the meaning of human quantity words.Studying human quantifiers can help to improve the vocabulary reference book of Zhuang language,and on this basis,understand the cognitive style of Zhuang family towards the world and Zhuang culture.
