In this study,the intermediate grammar of the three sets of textbooks HSK Standard Course,Developing Chinese and New Concept Chinese were selected,and the selection and arrangement of grammar were compared and analyzed.In addition,combined with the observation in teaching practice,as well as the investigation and analysis of Chinese learners and Chinese teachers,the arrangement of grammar in teaching materials is discussed,the problems and details that need to be paid attention to in the preparation of current Chinese teaching materials are revealed,and the research of intermediate Chinese teaching materials is enriched in order to further promote the construction of Chinese teaching materials.The paper first explains the research reason,research significance,research status,research content,research object,and research ideas and methods,and then defines the relevant concepts.In the main part of this article,the grammar of the three sets of teaching materials are sorted out and investigated,including the number of language points,level distribution,and classification and comparison of specific content,and it is found that Developing Chinese is relatively difficult among the three sets of textbooks,with the largest number of grammar and the largest proportion of grammar at the C-D level.The third part is an investigation of the arrangement of the grammar of the three sets of textbooks,including the presentation of grammar in the textbooks,notes,example sentences,and exercises.The three sets of teaching materials are similar in style in presentation,and all are mainly presented in plain text.In terms of annotations,only the HSK standard Course adopts bilingual annotations,and the terms of Developing Chinese and HSK Standard Course in some grammar are more used and the expressions are more complex.The annotations of New Concept Chinese are simple and easy to understand,but the number of example sentences is too small,which is not conducive to the understanding and consolidation of grammar.In terms of practice,Developing Chinese is the only textbook that adopts a variety of question types among the three sets of textbooks,and the practice of HSK Standard Course is not targeted enough.And then it’s the investigation and analysis of students and teachers,including the statement of the survey plan,and then from the number of language points,the language of gramamr annotations,difficulty,arrangement style,and example sentences and exercises of grammar,the learners and teachers are investigated and interviewed through questionnaires,and then the results of the survey and interviews are sorted out and analyzed.It was found that students with intermediate and advanced Chinese proficiency have strong expectations for the use of bilingual textbooks,and want to reduce the difficulty in terms of the number of language points and the difficulty of example sentences.Lastly,it’s the summary and enlightenment of the study,summarizing the results of the investigation of the three sets of teaching materials,explaining the enlightenment obtained through the investigation of the three sets of teaching materials and the survey of students and teachers,and then making suggestions.
