| Affected by the COVID-19 pandemic,many schools and education institutions in the world have suspended offline teaching,forcing the traditional offline classroom model to transfer to online teaching model.The development of online teaching is unstoppable.Online teaching has shown its unique advantages in practice,but there are also problems such as insufficient interaction,reduced motivation,and difficulty in teaching management.In order to seek a better online teaching method and reduce the negative impacts of online teaching on teaching effects,this paper fully absorbs and learns from the advantages of offline immersion teaching,applies the immersion teaching method to the online Chinese comprehensive course teaching,and conducts research on its teaching effects.This paper takes two parallel classes of the Royal University of Phnom Penh as the research object,setting up an experimental class and a control class.The experimental class uses immersion teaching method and the control class uses traditional teaching method.A four-month teaching experiment of 80 class hours per class was carried out.After the experiment,according to the pre-test and post-test results of the two classes and the results of questionnaire survey,it was found that the average score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class.The grades of the experimental class have improved,and there is a significant difference between the final grades of the previous semester and this semester.Combined with students’ feedback,it is concluded that the immersion teaching method has a significant effect on improving students’ academic performance and plays an important role in enhancing students’ interest in learning,increasing the interactivity of online teaching,and improving students’ Chinese communicative ability and mastery of grammar points.The thesis has six chapters: Chapter 1 expounds the background of the topic,research significance,research methods and research status at home and abroad;Chapter 2 discusses the characteristics and advantages of the immersion teaching method,and analyzes the applicability of the immersion method to online teaching from three aspects: teaching objectives,teaching targets,and teaching platforms;Chapter 3 records the online implementation process of the immersion teaching measures,and carries out teaching design;Chapter 4evaluates the effect of online immersion teaching from questionnaire results and test results;Chapter 5 summarizes the strengths and weaknesses of online immersion teaching,and provides targeted suggestions;Chapter 6 is the conclusion,which summarizes the previous research. |
