The Application Of Flat Style In Contemporary Meticulous Figure Painting

Under the background of contemporary multi-culture,a group of fine brushwork figure painters with unique style have emerged.They absorb the humanistic spirit of traditional Chinese art and blend the elements of other art forms to form the characteristics of flat style art.This paper mainly discusses the application and creation practice of flat style in contemporary meticulous figure painting.In the large-scale exhibitions held by China Artists Association in recent years,it can be seen from a large number of works that the artistic characteristics of flat style have been applied to the creation of fine brushwork.However,the term "flat style" has rarely been formally mentioned in the field of painting and there is a lack of relevant theoretical research.Therefore,this paper expounds the theme by combining theory with practice,hoping to enrich relevant theories and provide creative ideas for the application of flat style in contemporary meticulous figure painting.At present,in the national art exhibition,flat style type of works have been widespread,and has formed a popular trend in the painting world.By discussing the origin and characteristics of flat style and its evolution in the field of contemporary painting,this paper analyzes contemporary meticulous figure painting works from three aspects of modeling,composition and color,summarizes the artistic characteristics of flat style such as exaggeration,subjectivity and abstraction,and obtains inspiration for creation.Finally,combined with his own creation to form a flat style of the picture effect.
