| "Nuo" originated from the primitive period of hunting and driving behavior,is a kind of rituals with the function of driving away evil spirits and epidemics,to avoid bad luck,ancestors and heirs,also known as "Nuo sacrifice".As a major theme of traditional Chinese culture,"Meng Jiangnv" also occupies an important position in the Yang opera,one of the varieties of Nuo opera.The Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou is widely distributed and frequently performed,and its distinctive language,rituals and rituals with special functions are not only compatible with the aesthetic interests of the people,but also meet a variety of practical needs.There is a rich source of information on the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou,but the research results are a little thin.Using field research,documentary research,and comparative research,this paper examines the development,script overview,language style,performance,function,and regional characteristics of he Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou,using the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou texts from published literature and field research as the object of study.The text consists of six parts,an introduction and five chapters.In the introduction,the relevant concepts are defined,the background and significance of the study are introduced,and then the current research status of the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv,Guizhou Yang opera and the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou are reviewed respectively.At present,the research results on the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou have been fruitful,but the regional nature of the research results is obvious,and the research results on the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou are a bit thin,basically at the stage of collecting and organizing scripts.The first chapter,traces the origin and development of the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou.It analyzes the historical development of the story of Meng Jiangnv from its origin to its transformation and the formation and development of Meng Jiangnv opera,explores the cultural background of Guizhou’s pluralistic fusion,belief in witchcraft and rituals,and belief in multiple gods,and then analyzes the generation and development of the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou by integrating historical records and repertoire singing.The second chapter,analyze the Yang opera of the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou from two aspects: script overview and language style.In this chapter,the anonymity of the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou scripts is compiled,and the general content of the repertoire is outlined.With reference to the content of the scripts and the form of performance,the repertoire of Meng Jiangnv opera is divided into ritual type and ritual drama type.The ritual type plays are mainly for ritual services,while the ritual type plays are somewhat programmatic,but generally revolve around the core of the story and are compatible with the ritual type plays.In terms of language style,most of the plays make good use of rhetoric,and the dialogue is slang and simple,witty and humorous,with strong regional color.The third chapter,analyzes the performance elements and structure of the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou.In terms of the composition of the performance elements,the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv is mainly performed by Sheng,Dan and Clown,and the costumes do not highlight the background of the characters’ lives.In terms of performance structure,the Yang opera of Meng Jiangnv is a play that is derived from rap literature to the ritual,so it basically presents the whole story of Meng Jiangnv in the performance,but the plot is still closely related to the ritual,and is in a state of ritual-play integration.The performance has both the name of drama and the reality of ritual.The fourth chapter,discusses the function of the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou.It analyzes the ritual function of the play when Meng Jiangnv was a deity,and the edification and entertainment functions of the play’s content,taking into account the performance occasions,performance purposes,and the content of the play.It is argued that the performance of the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv program,while satisfying various realistic needs of the people,also reflects people’s positive outlook on life,reflecting local people’s emotional,cognitive,aesthetic,educational and other components of life,and is a catalyst for popular entertainment and a reflection of life.The fifth chapter,the regional comparison between the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou and Xiang and Gan Nuo opera of Meng Jiangnv repertoire is developed,and the regional characteristics of the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou are analyzed.Through the comparison of several factors,it is discussed that the core parts of the Yangxi Opera of Meng Jiangnv in Guizhou,such as the core plot,performance environment,and courtship,are inherited in a stable manner,while the extended parts,such as the script system,character functions,and entertainment components,are inherited in a variable manner.The spatial and temporal differences of the plays are analyzed from the plays collected in different regions and at different times in Guizhou. |
