Museum graphic and textual information,as one of the basic exhibition information in museums,has gone through the development process of text reading,combination of graphic and textual information,and video broadcasting driven by technological development.From visual reading to the era of image reading,and then to audio-visual images,the way audiences obtain graphic and textual information is constantly evolving.Its display form has also shifted from a two-dimensional plane to a multi-dimensional one,from static graphic display boards in the past to dynamic interactive graphic display,gradually breaking the "visual centric" communication mode.The characteristics,timing,and efficiency of the audience’s acquisition and interpretation of museum graphic and textual information are also constantly changing under the influence of science,technology,and media.Impressibility,digitalization,multi sensory and experiential have become the main characteristics of the current museum image and text information dissemination.Museum image and text information has gradually changed from the physical space dimension to the Mental space dimension.In different types of museums,the proportion of graphic and textual information varies,and the form of multi-dimensional transformation design also varies.The rapid development of technology has enriched the presentation forms of graphic and textual information,but there have also been some problems,such as homogenization of display methods and low efficiency in the utilization of exhibition space.So this article starts with museum graphic and textual information,and combines the current development status and characteristics of communication media to analyze the cognitive efficiency of audience acquisition and interpretation of graphic and textual information,audience age group,and the transformation and transmission of graphic and textual information.Through exhibition curation and form design,the museum’s graphic and textual information is transformed and designed in multiple dimensions to improve the interpretability of graphic and textual information.Help the audience understand a large amount of complex,abstract and fragmented exhibition information,integrate multiple senses to mobilize the audience’s interest in the exhibition,reasonably use virtual exhibition means to make the exhibition form more diversified,optimize the audience experience in an all-round way,enhance the audience’s participation,broaden the Mental space dimension of the audience,realize the multi-dimensional transformation of exhibition form and audience experience,and improve the interpretation and transmission efficiency of the museum’s graphic information.
