Since entering the new century,with the deepening of China ’s medical and health reform,hospitals of different sizes and types are developed rapidly headed by public hospitals,great progress has been made in national medical and health undertakings.Nursing workers are one of the important components of hospital health system,the level of hospital care affects the relationship between patients,doctors and nurses,and indirectly reflects the quality of hospital care.The management level of nursing managers will directly reflect the level of hospital nursing quality.Therefore,building competency model of nursing management post is an important subject and direction of Human Resource Management in medical system.SD Hospital of Chinese Medicine is a private country second class B hospital.In terms of the operating status of the hospital,the management level of nursing workers needs to be improved urgently.Therefore,by constructing a competency model for nursing managers is of great significance to further improve the overall ability and quality of nursing managers,and to stimulate endogenous motivation and enthusiasm of nursing managers.Comprehensively analyze the management status of SD Chinese Medicine Hospital,adopt methods such as consulting industry experts,this article takes the head nurse of the hospital as the research objectm,construct the final competency model of the head nurse by inviting experts to evaluate the index weights,actively explore the application in the selection and appointment of head nurses,training and education,and performance appraisal of SD Hospital,to further improve the management status of the company’s nursing team,provide a solid guarantee for the high-quality development of the hospital.
