| Objective:In this study,an AI facial-face recognition system was used to identify the facial expressions of the elderly,and scales were used to evaluate the TCM constitution and quality of life of the elderly.Thus,the correlation between the mood of the elderly and the TCM constitution and quality of life is analyzed.This provides new ideas for improving the constitution of traditional Chinese medicine and the quality of life of the elderly.Materials and Methods: This study has been completed with the Chinese Clinical Trials Registry,and was reviewed and approved by the Chinese Registered Clinical Trials Ethics Review Board.This study was a cross-sectional study.A total of 200 subjects were recruited between December 2020 and December 2021.Among them,50 conducted the correlation of the mood and quality of life and TCM constitution of the elderly in the daily image acquisition mode,and the other 150 conducted the correlation of the correlation of the mood and quality of life and TCM constitution of the elderly in the emotion-induced mode.In the early stage of the project,the researchers conducted scientific research cooperation with the Institute of face recognition and expression classification of Northeastern University,and completed the intelligent facial expression recognition system based on convolutional neural network.The AI expression recognition system was used to identify and analyze the daily images or captured images after emotion induction,and obtained the daily emotional status of the subjects according to the analysis results and divided them into positive and negative emotion groups.Questionnaire was completed using the mode in which one physician asked one subject.Professionals assisted the subjects to complete the classification and determination table of TCM constitution and Short Form 36 Health Survey(SF-36).Finally,the researchers analyzed the impact of emotion on the constitution of TCM and the quality of life of the elderly.Data collation was performed using Excel,and data analysis was performed using SPSS25.0.Results:1.The AI intelligent identification system uses the Dlib algorithm,which can quickly and accurately locate the face of the characters in the picture for interception,and make the unified format of the intercepted pictures.The convolutional neural network is used to build the model,and finally output the encoding results of the picture.After a large number of training and testing of network pictures,the accuracy rate of the AI intelligent recognition system on smile discrimination has reached more than 95%.2.A total of 50 subjects were included in the correlation study of the elderly mood and quality of life and TCM constitution under the daily image acquisition mode.The composition of balanced constitution and biased constitution was not statistically significant at different ages and of different sexes(P> 0.05).3.The daily emotional status transformation of the 50 subjects was divided into 0.76 ± 0.46,with a maximum of 1.90 and a minimum of 0.00.4.The results of binary Logistic regression analysis of balanced constitution and biased constitution showed that daily emotional conditions(OR=0.103,P <0.01),and daily life emotions are protective factors for the formation of balanced constitution.5.After Pearson correlation analysis,there was a significant negative relationship between age and quality of life score(r= ﹣ 0.479,P <0.01),and a significant positive correlation between daily emotional status and quality of life score(r=0.441,P <0.01).6.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that age could significantly negatively affect the quality of life score(β=-10.625,P <0.01),and the daily mood status could significantly positively affect the quality of life score(β=13.884,P <0.01).Regression equation: Quality of life score = 117.918﹣10.625 * Age + 13.884 * Daily emotional status.7.A total of 150 subjects were included in the correlation of mood and quality of life and TCM constitution of the elderly under the emotion-induced mode.According to the AI smiling face recognition system,62 cases were included in the positive emotion group and 88 cases in the negative emotion group.The composition of sex and age in the positive and negative mood groups was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).8.Composition of TCM constitution type in 150 subjects: balanced constitution 33cases(22.0%),Qi-insufficiency constitution 26 cases(17.3%),Yang-deficiency constitution 22cases(14.7%),Yin-deficiency constitution 23 cases(15.3%),phlegm dampness constitution 15cases(10.0%),damp heat constitution 7 cases(4.7%),stagnant blood constitution 9cases(6.0%),Qi stagnation 13 cases(8.7%),the specific constitution 2cases(1.3%).The distribution of balanced constitution and biased constitution was statistically different between the positive and negative mood groups(P <0.01).9.The results of Logistic regression analysis of sex,age,mood on balanced constitution and biased constitution showed: sex(OR=0.737,P> 0.05),age(OR=1.760,P> 0.05),and mood(OR=0.293,P <0.01).The influence of sex and age on the formation of balanced constitution and biased constitution is not statistical significant,and mood has a significant impact on the formation of balanced constitution and biased constitution in the elderly.10.The Logistic regression analysis of sex,age,mood on Qi-insufficiency constitution,Yang-deficiency constitution,Yin-deficiency constitution,phlegm dampness constitution,damp heat constitution,stagnant blood constitution and Qi stagnation constitution showed:Age showed a positive correlation with Yang-deficiency constitution and Qi-insufficiency constitution(P <0.05),and positive mood showed a negative correlation with phlegm dampness constitution,stagnant blood constitution and Qi stagnation constitution(P <0.05).11.The total quality of life score of the 62 subjects in the positive mood group was 112.98 ±17.23.The total quality of life of 88 subjects in the negative mood group was 105.04 ± 20.71.12.By Wilcoxon rank-sum test,positive and negative mood groups showed statistical differences in total quality of life transformation score,PF transformation score,RP transformation score,SF transformation score,MH transformation score,PCS transformation score and MCS transformation score.13.After the Spearman rank correlation analysis,there was a positive and weak relationship between mood and quality of life grade(Rs=0.186,P= <0.05).Conclusion:1.Positive daily mood status is a protective factor for balanced constitution formation.2.Age and daily mood status can significantly affect the quality of life score.The older,the lower the quality of life score.The better the daily mood status,the higher the quality of life score.Sex,marital status,living status,and type of work could not significantly affect the quality of life score.3.The constitution distribution of the elderly with positive emotions is mainly balanced constitution,Qi-insufficiency constitution and Yin-deficiency constitution,while the constitution distribution of the elderly with negative emotions is mainly Qi-insufficiency constitution,Yang-deficiency constitution and Yin-deficiency constitution.Therefore,it can be seen that the proportion of the elderly with negative emotions in balanced constitution is significantly reduced.Clinically,long-term mental adjustment can be taken as one of the means to adjust the biased constitution of the elderly.It will provide support for the constitution adjustment of the elderly with drug therapy,environmental therapy and diet therapy,provide new ideas for their health care,and help the elderly to improve their biased constitution.4.Emotion has an influence on the formation of balanced constitution and biased constitution in the elderly.Compared with balanced constitution,age is the risk factor for the formation of Yang-deficiency constitution and Qi stagnation constitution in the elderly,and positive mood is the protective factor for the formation of phlegm dampness constitution,stagnant blood constitution and Qi stagnation constitution in the elderly.5.Quality of life in the positive mood group outperformed the negative mood group in multiple dimensions,and there was a positive relationship between mood and quality of life grade in the elderly.Clinically,long-term intervention in the mood of the elderly can be used as one of the auxiliary treatment modalities to improve the quality of life of the elderly. |
