Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy of Rehabilitation therapy with Eye-acupuncture on patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke(Syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis).Material and method:Source of case data 60 patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke(Syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis)who met the screening requirements and were randomly divided into a test group and a control group of 30 cases each from December2020 to December 2021 among the patients hospitalized in the Second Department of Encephalopathy Rehabilitation,Liaoning TCM Rehabilitation Center. The test group was treated with Rehabilitation therapy with Eye-acupuncture,and the control group was treated with body acupuncture(acupuncture antagonist muscle-related acupoints)combined with rehabilitation training, and the two groups were treated for 4 weeks. The Modified Ashworth Spasticity Scale(MAS),the TCM syndrome score for stroke disease(Syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis),the simplified Fugl-Meyer Motor Function Score(FMA)and the Barthel Index Rating Scale(BI)were applied before and after treatment to evaluate the clinical efficacy and analyze the changes in motor function, activities of daily living, spasticity status and the TCM syndrome.Clinical data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 23.0software.Results:1.There was no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of gender, age, disease duration, stroke type and the TCM syndrome score,MAS score,FMA score and BI score before treatment,P>0.05,suggesting that the two groups were comparable.2.The TCM syndrome,MAS,FMA and BI scores of the test and control groups were statistically different within the group before and after treatment and between the groups after treatment,P<0.05.3.There was a statistical difference between groups in the difference between pre-and post-treatment for TCM syndrome,MAS,FMA and BI scores,P<0.05.4.The total effective rate of improvement of upper limb spasm was 80.00% in the test group and 63.33% in the control group, the test group was higher than the control group,P<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant;the total effective rate of improvement of lower limb spasm was 83.33% in the test group and 66.67% in the control group, the test group was higher than the control group,P<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant, and the total effective rate of both upper and lower limbs in the test group was better than that in the control group.Conclusion:1.Rehabilitation therapy with Eye-acupuncture and body acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training can effectively relieve the spasticity of upper and lower limbs in spastic hemiplegia after stroke(Syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis),improve patients’ motor function, and enhance the ability to perform activities of daily living. And Rehabilitation therapy with Eye-acupuncture is better than body acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training.2.Rehabilitation therapy with Eye-acupuncture can significantly improve the TCM syndrome of spastic hemiplegia after stroke(Syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis),and it is better than body acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training.3.Rehabilitation therapy with Eye-acupuncture is more effective than body acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training in the treatment of spastic hemiplegia after stroke(Syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis).4.The operability and safety of Eye-acupuncture are high, and the acceptance is good and easy to promote. |
