| Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture and body acupuncture in the treatment of patients with wind cold facial paralysis, and to analyze the difference in efficacy,so as to provide application basis for further clinical promotion.Materials and methods:Collect the patients with facial paralysis who were hospitalized in the outpatient department of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine from March 1,2021 to December 31,2021,screen them through the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria, and then exclude them through the exclusion criteria, and determine 60 subjects who meet the criteria. They were divided into two groups by random number table method, each group included 30 subjects. On the basis of the same Western medicine treatment, the treatment group was treated with eye acupuncture, while the control group was treated with body acupuncture.10 days is a course of treatment. After one course of treatment, rest for 2 days and continue to receive the second course of treatment. If the patient recovers, stop the subsequent treatment. After the subjects were enrolled, recovered or two courses of treatment, the two acupuncture treatments were evaluated by H-B scale, the percentage of difference in the height of bilateral cleft eyes, orbicularis oculi muscle strength scale, secondary and concurrent symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine.Data were sorted out and analyzed by SPSS 25.0 statistical software.Result:1.A total of 60 subjects were included in the trial. The gender, location of onset, age, course of disease,H-B surface function grade, percentage of difference in the height of eye fissure on the healthy side, orbicularis oculi muscle strength grade,TCM symptom score and other data of the two groups were compared,P > 0.05,and there was no statistical difference between the two groups.2.Comparison of H-B facial function grade after treatment: the H-B facial nerve function grade of the two groups was compared within the group before and after treatment, and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(p<0.05).After treatment, the functional grade, curative effect grade, cure rate and total effective rate of facial nerve were compared between the two groups(P > 0.05);There was no statistical difference in each item.3.After the treatment, the difference percentage of the height of the healthy and sick side of the eye fissure was compared: the difference percentage of the height of the healthy and sick side of the eye fissure was compared between the two groups before and after the treatment, both groups were p<0.05;After the treatment, the percentage of difference in the height of cleft eyes on the healthy side was compared among the groups(p<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups.4.After the treatment, the muscle strength levels of orbicularis oculi muscle of the two groups were compared: before and after the treatment, the muscle strength of orbicularis oculi muscle of the two groups were compared within the group, both p<0.05.After the treatment, the strength grade of orbicularis oculi muscle between the two groups were compared, both p<0.05,and the above comparisons had statistical differences.5.Comparison of TCM symptom scores after treatment: the two groups were compared before and after treatment,p<0.05;There was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(p<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both eye acupuncture and body acupuncture have good clinical effects on the treatment of wind cold facial paralysis, and there is no significant difference between the two therapies in improving the overall facial function.2.Eye acupuncture is superior to body acupuncture in improving the strength of orbicularis oculi muscle and reducing the height of ocular fissure.3.Eye acupuncture is superior to conventional body acupuncture in the treatment of concurrent and secondary symptoms of facial paralysis. |
