| Background:Insomnia is a sleep disorder characterized by difficulty falling asleep, maintaining sleep, waking up early, and impaired daytime functioning.Insomnia patients are often accompanied by habitual anxiety and tension characteristics.Accompanied by fatigue, physical discomfort and other daytime dysfunction is easy to aggravate anxiety symptoms, and anxiety is easy to induce autonomic nervous dysfunction, aggravate insomnia, the two interact, easy to form a vicious cycle.Insomnia and anxiety have a common pathogenesis and are easy to be affected at the same time.Compared with treating a single symptom, treating insomnia and anxiety at the same time can better improve sleep and anxiety.Acupuncture may be effective in treating insomnia and anxiety, but it needs further verification. Objective:To observe the clinical effect of fire needle combined with millimeter needle on patients with insomnia and anxiety.A randomized controlled study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of fire needle combined with acupuncture in improving sleep quality, daytime awakening degree, anxiety and depression in patients with insomnia and anxiety,in order to find a simple, safe and effective treatment for this disease, and to provide more effective clinical evidence for the treatment of fire needle for this disease.Methods:1.A total of 60 patients with insomnia and anxiety were included in this study, and were divided into the treatment group(30 cases)and the control group(30 cases)by random number table method.2.Treatment methods:The control group was acupuncture Zhou’s Tiaoshen prescription, the treatment group in the control group on the basis of the treatment methods in Baihui,Shenting,Si Shencong,Benshen point plus fire needle treatment.3.Course of treatment:Both groups were treated 3 times a week,4 weeks as a course of treatment,a total of 1 course of treatment, and follow-up 4 weeks after the end of treatment.4.Observation index and collection point:Based on The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),The Hyperarousal Scale(HAS),the Hamilton Anxiety Scale,HAMA)and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)were used as observational indicators to evaluate sleep disorders, arousal state, anxiety and depression before, after and during follow-up.Results:1.General information and baseline comparison:there were no significant differences in gender, age,PSQI,HAS,HAMA and HAMA scores between the two groups(P>0.05).2.PSQI score:Intra-group comparison:PSQI score in both groups decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.01).Comparison between groups:There was no statistical significance between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).3.HAS score:Intra-group comparison:HAS score in both groups decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.01).Comparison between groups:There was no statistical significance between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and there were significant statistical differences after treatment(P<0.01).4.HAMA score:Intra-group comparison:HAMA score of the two groups decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.01).Comparison between groups:There was no statistical significance between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and there were significant statistical differences after treatment(P<0.01).5.HAMD score:Intra-group comparison:HAMD score of the treatment group was significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.01),while HAMD score of the control group was not significantly different before and after treatment(P>0.05).Comparison between groups:There was no statistical significance between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and there were significant statistical differences after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both fire needle combined with acupuncture therapy and acupuncture therapy alone can improve patients’ sleep quality, reduce patients’ degree of arousal, and reduce patients’ anxiety and depression, thus improving patients’ quality of life.2.The combination of fire needle and acupuncture therapy has more advantages than simple millimeter needle therapy in improving the wakefulness, anxiety and depression of patients with insomnia and anxiety. |
