Clinical Efficacy Of Yiqi Huoxue Navel Patch On Constipation In Patients With Stable Angina Pectoris With Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasi

Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Yiqi Huoxue umbilical patch on acupoint application for constipation in patients with Stable Angina Pectoris(SAP)with qi deficiency and blood stasis.Explore the possible mechanism of its action.Methods:Sixty patients with SAP CAD(Qi deficiency and blood stasis type)complicated with constipation were included in the outpatient department and ward of Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from April 2022 to May 2023,and were randomly divided into two groups(observation drug group and control group).The drug observation group was given self-made Yiqi-Huoxue powder applied to Shenque point,and the control group was given simulated powder applied to Shenque point,both groups were applied 4 hours a day.Before the start of the trial,the general conditions of the patients(such as gender,age,course of disease,etc.)were recorded,the constipation Clinical Score scale(CCS)was filled in to evaluate whether the severity of constipation was consistent between the two groups,and was filled in before the umbilical patch was used respectively.Fill in constipation symptoms scale,constip-ation patients quality of life scale(Patient Assessment of Constipation Quality of Life,PAC-QOL),depression Self rating scale(Self-Rating Depression Scale,SDS)and anxiety self-assessment scale(Self-Rating Anxiety Scale,SAS and coronary heart disease angina pectoris(qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome)symptoms scale.Both groups were treated with acupoint application for the 14th day.Constipation symptom scale,coronary heart disease angina pectoris(syndrome of Qi deficiency and blood stasis)symptom efficacy scale,PACQOL,SDS,SAS,etc.,were recorded again on the 14th and 28th days,respectively.A database was established and statistical software was entered.According to the improvement degree of constipation symptoms before and after treatment,the therapeutic effect was evaluated by referring to the Consensus Opinion of Experts on TCM Diagnosis and Treatment of Constipation(2017).SPSS25.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis to evaluate the clinical effect of Yiqi Huoxue Patch on constipation in SAP patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis.Results:65 cases were collected clinically,5 cases fell off,60 cases with complete data,30 cases in the drug group and 30 cases in the control group.Be-fore treatment,general data of the two groups were compared,and demographic data(gender,age,duration of coronary heart disease,oral drugs,other underlying diseases,CCS score assessment,exercise tolerance assessment)showed no statistical difference(P>0.05),which was comparable.Pre-treatment scale score analysis:Before treatment,there was no statistical difference between the two groups in PAC-QOL,SDS,SAS and CHD patients’ accompanying symptom score(P>0.05),indicating comparability.Post-treatment scale analysis:After 14 days of treatment and 28 days of follow-up visits,there were statistical differences in constipation symptoms,PAC-QOL,SDS and SAS scores between the two groups(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the scores of coronary heart disease angina pectoris(qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome)accompanying symptoms between the two groups(P>0.05).Among drug groups,constipation symptoms and PAC-QOL scores were statistically different before treatment,14 days after treatment and 28 days after treatment(P<0.05).There were significant differences in SDS and SAS scores in the three periods(P<0.05).In the control group,constipation symptoms and PAC-QOL score were statistically significant before treatment and 14 days after treatment(P<0.05),while there were no statistically significant differences in constipation symptoms and PAC-QOL scores between the days before treatment and 28 days after follow-up(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in SDS score among the three periods(P>0.05),while there was significant difference in SAS score among the three periods(P<0.05).there were no statistical differences in the coronary heart disease angina pectoris(qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome)accompanying symptom score between the drug group and the control group(P>0.05).Symptom improvement analysis of constipation symptoms:Efficacy index analysis:When applying acupoint application for 14 days,1 person in the drug group was cured,10 people were significantly effective,16 people were effective and 4 people were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 86%.At the 28-day return visit,compared with before treatment,23 patients in the drug group were effective and 7 were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 76%.In the control group,27 were ineffective and 3 were effective,with an effective rate of 10%.There was statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the simulated umbilical patch,Yiqi Huoxue umbilical patch can significantly improve the symptoms of constipation and the quality of life in SAP patients.It can relieve anxiety,depression and other bad emotions to some extent.There was no significant improvement in the concomitant symptoms of coronary heart disease.However,at the 28-day return visit,the constipation symptoms of SAP patients were repeated,and the quality of life of constipation was decreased.These results indicated that Yiqi Huoxue umbilical patch had obvious therapeutic effect during use,but could not maintain the curative effect after discontinuation.There were no obvious adverse reactions during the use of Yiqi Huoxue umbilical patch,and the short-term application was safe and reliable.
