Objective:To treat residual pain after PVP surgery with oral Bushen Qianggu Decoction and modified decoction, using the method of combination of four diagnostic methods and differentiation of symptoms and signs in traditional Chinese medicine, and using clinical observation data to illustrate the efficacy of this prescription,so as to provide a Chinese herbal oral decoction with good therapeutic effect for the majority of elderly patients suffering from residual pain after PVP surgery, and can persist in treatment for a long time. Methods:A total of 60 cases selected in this study and meeting the final inclusion criteria are from the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology,Changde Hospital Affiliated to Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Sixty patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures still have residual low back pain 48 hours after percutaneous vertebroplasty.According to the combination of the four diagnostic criteria and syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine, the syndrome type is kidney deficiency and blood stasis type. All patients are randomly divided into 30 patients in each group according to the time of treatment,They were divided into treatment group and control group.Under the premise of conforming to medical ethics, patients in the treatment group were treated with oral Bushen Qianggu Decoction, while patients in the control group were treated with oral iricoxib tablets.According to the project plan, the treatment course is arranged:all patients take oral medication twice a day, with a treatment course of 7 days, and a treatment period of 4 weeks. The total treatment period is 6 weeks. At the beginning of treatment, the stage of treatment, and at the end of treatment,VAS score,ODI score,TCM symptomatology score, and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale were used to evaluate the efficacy.Relevant data were recorded and stored in detail, and various data contents were comprehensively collated.SPSS25.0 software was used for statistics and analysis of various data in this topic.Results:1.Based on the original data, case statistics for both the treatment group and the control group were completed. After statistical analysis of general basic data such as fracture segment, age, and gender, there was no significant difference between the two groups in general data such as fracture segment, age, and gender(P>0.0 5),so the two groups of patients had comparable analysis.2.Separate analysis between the treatment group and the control group:After detailed statistical analysis of VA S scores,ODI scores, traditional Chinese medicine symptomatology scores, and hospital anxiety and depression scale scores, significant differences were found(P<0.01),indicating that both the treatment group and the control group have improved relevant symptoms after long-term treatment and have effective effects.Comparative analysis between the treatment group and the control group:After six courses of medication, the two groups of patients underwent statistical analysis and found that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in terms of VAS scores,TCM symptomatology scores,ODI scores, and hospital anxiety and depression scale scores, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:In terms of the comprehensive efficacy of Bushen Qianggu Decoction in treating residual low back pain after PVP for osteoporotic thoracolumbar fractures,it is more effective than oral iricoxib tablets.
