| Objective:A prospective,randomized,controlled study is being conducted on this topic.In order to offer fresh perspectives and new approaches for clinical research and the treatment of insomnia caused by both heart and spleen deficiency as well as stroke,this paper discusses the special intervention effect of acupuncture and Guipi D ecoction on insomnia caused by both heart and spleen deficiency after stroke and summarizes its advantages and characteristics.Materials and Methods:In this trial,62 post-stroke insomniacs who met the inclusion requirements and were receiving care in the K1 ward of the Department of Neurology of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to January 2023 were randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group.Both subject groups got fundamental medical care as well as fundamental rehabilitative care The control group received oral D exzopiclone Tablets,a sleep-inducing western medication,whereas the treatment group received acupuncture at specific acupoints and oral Guipi D ecoction.The treatment group received one daily session of acupuncture at an acupoint with a 30-minute needle retention.The participants in the control group took one dose of 3 mg of D exzopiclone Tablets 30 minutes before bedtime each day.Both groups took one week as a course of treatment,andfor four consecutive courses.After four courses The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and the score of TCM symptoms of heart-spleen deficiency type were used to compare the two groups of individuals’ sleep quality before and after therapy.Then the database can be built using Office Excel.SPSS27.0 statistics software must be used for data input and statistical analysis.Results:1.A general overview:60 participants eventually finished the research because there were two people incidences of exfoliation throughout the course of the treatment.2.General data:The general data,including gender,stroke type,age,disease course,PSQI score,and the score of the insomnia syndrome integral scale of deficit of heart and spleen in traditional Chinese medicine,do not statistically differ between the two groups(p>0.05).3.PSQI score:The PSQI score of patients in both groups was considerably lower after treatment(p<0.05)than it was before treatment.And in terms of sleep efficiency,usage of hypnotic drugs,and improvement in overall quality of sleep,there was a notable change between the test group and the control group in the particular PSQI scores(p<0.05).The test group is more effective at minimizing the usage of hypnotic medications and enhancing overall quality of sleep,although there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of sleep time,sleep disorders,daytime disorders,or sleep time after treatment(p>0.05).Following treatment,the test group’s overall success rate was 90.00%.4.The conclusions of comparing the scores of the scale of TCM syndromes for insomnia with deficiency of both the heart and spleen confirmed that the test group’s overall efficiencies rate was 86.67%and that both the single points and total scores of the scale of TCM syndromes were markedly smaller after treatment than in the control group.Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with Guipi D ecoction is significantly superior to oral right zopiclone alone in treating insomnia caused by heart and spleen deficiency after stroke This treatment can effectively lower the PSQI and the total score of the TCM syndrome scale in patients with insomnia after stroke,decrease the need for hypnotic medications,and increa se sleep efficiency. |
