Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation Of Phlegm And Blood Stasis Type Accompanied By Anxiety And Depression With Chinese Herbal Compoun

Purpose: To observe the clinical efficacy of Chinese herbal compound in treating paroxysmal atrial fibrillation with anxiety and depression of phlegm turbid blood stasis type,and to provide more clinical basis for Chinese herbal compound in treating paroxysmal atrial fibrillation with anxiety and depression.Material and method: From September 2020 to December 2022,60 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation,anxiety and depression,phlegm turbid blood stasis type,who were diagnosed as paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and measured as anxiety and depression by the scale,were included in the outpatient clinic and ward of the geriatric department of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in the control group were treated with amiodarone hydrochloride tablets,and 30 cases in the treatment group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine compound intelligent granules.At the same time,patients with other basic diseases in the two groups continued to take conventional western medicine.The treatment course of patients in the two groups was 12 weeks.The clinical efficacy of Chinese herbal compound was determined by observing the TCM syndrome score,TCM syndrome efficacy,frequency of atrial fibrillation(times/week),duration of atrial fibrillation(hours/time),GAD-7 score,PHQ-9 score and safety of the two groups of patients before and after treatment.Result:1.Comparison of tcm syndrome score between the two groups: after treatment,the tcm syndrome score of the two groups was lower than that before treatment(p<0.01),and the tcm syndrome score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(p<0.01).2.Compared with the control group,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 89.7%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 43.3%.Compared with the control group,the curative effect of the treatment group was more significant(p<0.01).3.Comparison of the frequency of atrial fibrillation attack(times/week)between the two groups: after treatment,the frequency of atrial fibrillation attack in the two groups was lower than that before treatment(p<0.01),and the efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(p<0.01).4.Comparison of the duration of atrial fibrillation(hours/time)between the two groups: the duration of atrial fibrillation in the two groups after treatment was shorter than that before treatment(p<0.01),and the efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(p<0.01).5.Comparison of GAD-7 scores between the two groups: the anxiety level of the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment(p<0.01),and the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the anxiety level(p<0.05).6.Comparison of PHQ-9 scores between the two groups: the depression degree of the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment(p<0.01),and the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the depression degree(p<0.05).7.Comparison of safety: the patients participating in the trial had no obvious abnormality in the monitoring of safety indicators,no serious adverse reactions or toxic side effects,so the treatment schemes of the two groups were safe.Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine can significantly reduce the score of TCM symptoms,improve clinical symptoms,and improve the efficacy of TCM symptoms in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation of phlegm turbid blood stasis type with anxiety and depression.The total effective rate is as high as 89.7%.It can reduce the frequency of atrial fibrillation,shorten the duration of atrial fibrillation,reduce the GAD-7 score and PHQ-9score of patients,and alleviate the anxiety and depression of patients,Safe for clinical use.
