Clinical Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Modified Shentong Zhuyu Decoction Combined With Prevertebral Fascial Space Injection In The Treatment Of Radiculopathy Of Cervical Spondylosis (Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Syndrome

Objective: The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Jiawei Shentong Zhuyu Decoction combined with injection into the anterior fascia space to treat cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome).Methods: Ninety hospitalized patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy who met the diagnostic criteria and were willing to participate in this trial were selected from the Pain Department and Spine Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to December 2022.The traditional Chinese medicine classification was Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome.90 patients were randomly divided into three groups: treatment group(Jiawei Shentong Zhuyu Decoction combined with pre vertebral fascial space injection group),control group A(pre vertebral fascial space injection group),and control group B(Jiawei Shentong Zhuyu Decoction group).Compare the visual analogue score(VAS score),CSR clinical symptom score,and total effective rate before and after treatment,and explore the clinical efficacy and safety of the three groups after 3 weeks of treatment.Results:(1)After statistical analysis,the general data and observational indicators of the three groups of patients before treatment were not statistically significant(P>0.05);(2)The VAS score and CSR clinical symptom score of the three groups of patients after 3 weeks of treatment were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the three groups had better clinical efficacy.(3)After 3 weeks of treatment,the three groups were compared between groups,and VAS score: The treatment group,control group A,and control group B were compared between groups.The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group A and B,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of the control group A and B was comparable,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);CSR clinical symptom score: Comparison between treatment group,control group A,and control group B showed that the therapeutic effect of treatment group was superior to that of control group A and B,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of control group A and B was comparable,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);Clinical efficacy and efficiency: the treatment group,control group A and control group B were compared among the three groups.The efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group A and B,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The efficacy of the control group A and B was similar,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion: The Jiawei Shentong Zhuyu Decoction combined with the injection group of anterior vertebral fascia space,the simple Jiawei Shentong Zhuyu Decoction group and the simple injection group of anterior vertebral fascia space have good clinical efficacy and safety.The Jiawei Shentong Zhuyu Decoction combined with the injection group of anterior vertebral fascia space has better clinical efficacy than the other two groups.It is worth popularizing and applying in clinic.
