Experimental Study On The Effect Of Shenling Baizhu Powder In Traditional Chinese Medicine On The Prevention And Treatment Of Functional Diarrhea Caused By Spleen Deficienc

Objective: To explore the effect of Shenling Baizhu Powder’s traditional Chinese medicine package on the immune function of intestinal mucosa and gastrointestinal peristalsis as well as the protective mechanism of intestinal mucosal injury in FD rats,so as to explore the effect and specific mechanism of Shenling Baizhu Powder’s traditional Chinese medicine package on the prevention and treatment of functional diarrhea of spleen deficiency syndrome.Methods: The purpose of this study is to establish a rat model of functional diarrhea of spleen deficiency type,observe the behavioral changes of rats,and compare the body weight,food intake,water intake,and fecal traits of rats before and after modeling and treatment to evaluate the modeling effect;The small intestine of rats was taken to observe the intestinal propulsion rate to see whether it improved the intestinal motility disorder;The colon of rats was collected and stained with he to observe the pathological changes of colon tissue;The serum levels of diamine oxidase(DAO),D-lactic acid(d-la),motilin(MTL),vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP),gastrin(gas),and secretory immunoglobulin A(s Ig A)in colon tissue were detected by ELISA;Immunoblotting was used to detect stem cell factor(SCF)in colon tissue.Result: At the end of modeling,the body weight of rats in the model group,Shenling Baizhu heat dissipation medicine bag group,traditional Chinese medicine bag group and Shenling Baizhu powder traditional Chinese medicine bag group was significantly lower than that in the blank group(P < 0.05).Compared with the model group,the weight decline trend of the TCM packet group and Shenling Baizhu powder TCM packet group was reduced after the intervention(P < 0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in body weight at the end of modeling among Shenling Baizhu heat dissipation medicine bag group,traditional Chinese medicine bag group and Shenling Baizhu powder traditional Chinese medicine bag group(P > 0.05).Compared with the blank group,the weight gain at the end of modeling was significantly lower in the model group,Shenling Baizhu heat dissipation medicine bag group,traditional Chinese medicine bag group,and Shenling Baizhu powder traditional Chinese medicine bag group(P < 0.05).Compared with the model group,the weight gain of Shenling Baizhu heat dissipation medicine bag group,traditional Chinese medicine bag group and Shenling Baizhu powder traditional Chinese medicine bag group increased(P < 0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in weight gain at the end of modeling between Shenling Baizhu heat dissipation medicine bag group and Shenling Baizhu powder traditional Chinese medicine bag group(P > 0.05).Compared with the blank group,there was no significant difference in food intake at the end of modeling in the other groups,but the water intake was significantly reduced(P < 0.05).There was no statistical difference in the amount of drinking water at the end of modeling among the Shenling Baizhu heat dissipation medicine packet group,the traditional Chinese medicine packet group,and the Shenling Baizhu powder traditional Chinese medicine packet group(P > 0.05).At the end of modeling,Bristol stool properties,loose stool rate,diarrhea index and diarrhea days of rats in the model group,Shenling Baizhu heat dissipation medicine bag group,traditional Chinese medicine bag group and Shenling Baizhu powder traditional Chinese medicine bag group were significantly worse than those in the blank group(P < 0.05).ELISA results showed that compared with the blank group,the expression of Dao,VIP and d-la in the model group,Shenling Baizhu heat dissipation medicine bag group,traditional Chinese medicine bag group and Shenling Baizhu powder traditional Chinese medicine bag group was significantly increased at the end of modeling,while the expression of gas,MTL,SIg A and SCF was significantly decreased(P < 0.05).Compared with the model group,the above-mentioned conditions of Shenling Baizhu heat dissipation medicine bag group,traditional Chinese medicine bag group and Shenling Baizhu powder traditional Chinese medicine bag group were improved(P < 0.05),the expressions of Dao,VIP and d-la were significantly decreased,and the expressions of gas,MTL,SIg A and SCF were increased(P < 0.05),and the effect of Shenling Baizhu powder traditional Chinese medicine bag group was better than that of other groups(P < 0.05).Conclusion: As the mostcrepresentative classic prescription for treating diarrhea due to spleen deficiency,the TCM package of Shenling Baizhu Powder can improve the pathological changes of the colon tissue of rats,reduce the inflammatory reaction of the colon,and improve the stool properties,thus achieving the effect of preventing and treating functional diarrhea due to spleen deficiency.
