A Retrospective Study On The Treatment Of Mixed Hemorrhoids With Automatic Elastic Band Ligation And External Stripping And Internal Ligatio

Purpose:The retrospective analysis of the clinical efficacy of automatic elastic line ligation and external stripping and internal ligation in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids provides a reference for the clinical treatment of this disease.Material and method:Using a retrospective study method,the case data of hospitalized patients undergoing mixed hemorrhoid surgery in the Anorectal Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2020 to August 2022 were searched,and external ligation was used as group A and RPH was used for group B.Fill in the required statistical condition information by consulting the medical records.General data of patients in both groups(name,gender,age,hospitalization number,length of hospitalization,number of mixed hemorrhoids,internal hemorrhoids stage,external hemorrhoids type,course of disease);clinical data(surgical duration,postoperative hospital days);efficacy index(postoperative pain score,postoperative edema score,postoperative bleeding score,postoperative urination score,postoperative defecation score,and wound granulation tissue growth score);and statistical analysis was performed using SPSS26.0.Results:1.Sixty patients were included,33 in Group A and 27 in Group B.There was no statistical difference in the general conditions of the patients in the two groups,including gender,age,number of mixed hemorrhoids,internal hemorrhoids stage,external hemorrhoids type,and course of disease,with P> 0.05.2.The two groups were compared in terms of postoperative edema scores,and group B was better than group A on postoperative days 1,3,and 5,with P <0.05.3.The two groups compared their postoperative bleeding scores,and group B was better than group A on postoperative days 1,3,and 5,with P <0.05.4.Comparing the postoperative voiding scores between the two groups,group B was better than group A on postoperative days 1,3,and 5,with P <0.05.5.In the two groups,group B was better than group A on days 1,3,and 5 after surgery,with P<0.05.6.Comparing the two groups with wound healing scores,group B was better than group A on days 3,5,and 6 after surgery,with P <0.05.7.In in B was less than in A,P <0.05.8.Group B was shorter than in group A,P <0.05.10.The cure rate was 100% in both groups.Conclusion:1.Both external stripping and ligation and RPH can treat mixed hemorrhoids,and the clinical effect is remarkable.2.The RPH operation time was shorter than the external stripping and internal ligation.3.After external stripping and RPH for mixed hemorrhoids,the patients experienced pain of different degrees,edema,bleeding,difficulty in defecation and dysuria,but the degree of pain,edema,bleeding,difficulty in defecation and urination in the RPH group was less than that in the group.The wound healing time in the RPH group was shorter than that in the external ligation group,and the wound recovery was faster.5.Compared with the two groups,RPH surgical instruments were more expensive.
