Study On The Transformation Of Major Social Contradictions From The Perspective Of Theory Of Human Needs

The level of social productivity of the People’s Republic of China(PRC)has been continuously improved,since the reform and opening up in 1978,thus various new changes have taken place in different fields of the whole society.Especially since the18 th National Congress of the Communist Party(CPC)of PRC,China,an industrial power with the most complete production chain,has produced more and more abundant material products.While the material needs of the masses of our country are satisfied by these rich material products,the needs of the masses for cultural life beyond the material spiritual level are not only more prominent but also diversified.The continuous improvement of living standards makes people yearn for a better life strongly.Based on the great changes of social reality,in the report of the 19 th National Congress of CPC of PRC,the thesis that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era has been made for the first time.And accurately made a judgment that the major social contradictions in China have undergone a new transformation.In this context,based on the Marxist theory of human needs and paradigm,relying on the theoretical analysis of the main social contradictions,this paper will carry out theoretical grasp,systematic analysis and in-depth discussion on the transformation of the major social contradictions in the new era from the two dimensions of theory and reality.The main body of this paper will be discussed according to the following four themes:First of all,based on the carding and summary of Marxist scholars and related academic literature,this paper will explore the internal logical relevance between the two theories from the perspective of the theory of social main contradictions and human needs.The author believes that significant theoretical progress of Marxist human needs theory is to put the abstract concept of "human needs" back to reality,to understand the actual and specific needs of micro individuals.At the same time,social needs,as an organic aggregate of social micro individuals,are destined to have a specific connotation,diverse types and rich levels,resulting in the extension of social contradictions with diverse representations.Secondly,since 1949,the year when PRC founded,the changes of the major social contradictions reflect the changes of the Central Committee’s cognition of the needs of social subjects in different periods.A deeper understanding of the diachronic display and internal logic of the transformation of the major social contradictions in China will help us to understand the reasons for the new transformation of the major social contradictions in the new era.In short,the judgment of the Communist Party of China on the major contradictions in Chinese society is constantly transformed with the development of different times and practices.That is to say,the social reality foundation,objective conditions and the needs of all kinds of social subjects in the new era have combined to promote the transformation of major social contradictions.Thirdly,it makes a theoretical analysis of the two main factors in the expression of the major social contradictions in the new era.On the one hand,from the perspective of Marxist needs theory,"the people’s need for a better life" is a concrete manifestation of human needs,which is characterized by diversity and multi-level,subjective initiative as the internal cause,objectivity and sociality as the internal logic;on the other hand,"unbalanced and inadequate development" has distinct characteristics of the times and historical conditions.The relationship between them is not only the dialectical unity of absoluteness and relativity but also the dialectical unity of finiteness and infinity.Finally,based on the Marxist theory of human needs,combined with the background of the new era and the social reality of our country,this paper discusses how to resolve the major social contradictions in the new era.The change of time conditions calls for the innovation of theory.The theory of resolving the major social contradictions in the new era should be based on the people as the centre,the organic unity of top-level macro planning and practical micro measures,and the systematic theory of cross-region and cross-field.
