| English grammar is a weak link for many students.And junior high school students don’t spend much energy on English grammar in the actual learning.This is mainly due to the fact that English grammar is abstract to a certain extent,which is very boring for most students.In addition,many teachers still adopt traditional teaching methods in grammar teaching,which ultimately affects the efficiency of English grammar teaching in junior high schools.Situational language teaching is a new teaching method,focusing on creating vivid,concrete,flexible and other scenes,emphasizing students’ classroom experience,and its intuitive,vivid and interesting characteristics have been favored by teachers and students.This paper further evaluates the effective application of situational language teaching in junior high school teaching based on the current situation of teaching English grammar in junior high school.In this paper,the subjects of the survey are students of Qianjiadian Experimental Junior High School in Tongliao City,and 107 students and 5 teachers are selected for face-to-face direct interviews,with the help of SPSS 20.0 software,the design idea of the problem is as follows:(1)What are the problems and reasons in the application of situational language teaching in junior high school’s English grammar?(2)How to apply situational language teaching to promote junior high school students’ English grammar learning?The analysis shows that Qianjiadian Experimental Junior High School will encounter many complicated obstacles when implementing the situational language teaching method into the practice of English grammar teaching.Students lose interests in English grammar;the concept of test-taking education still exists;the teaching method is no longer adopt to the version of the textbook;the content of situational teaching is not consistent with the actual application,the understanding of English grammar teaching is biased,and the teaching evaluation is one-sided.Based on the current teaching status of the school,some feasible suggestions are given,namely,creating activity scenes,guiding students to actively participate in,creating problem situations,cultivates students’ ability to explore and discover,and creates game scenes,so as to enhance learning interest,provide effective suggestions for the teaching of English grammar in Qianjiadian Experimental Junior High School. |
