| The elegant style prevailing in the flower and bird paintings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties has replaced the elegant and rich style since the Song Dynasty.Due to social development,flower and bird paintings with unique color language,represented by Zhou Zhimian’s hook flower and dot leaf school and Yun Shouping’s Mogu flower,are popular among the people.Their flower and bird paintings are characterized by literati paintings,part-time work and writing,vivid pen and ink,bright and beautiful colors,and both refined and popular tastes.In the artistic language of Chinese painting,color design has become an increasingly important part,and the color design in their paintings has its own system,which is contrary to the traditional color design techniques of flower and bird painting at that time,and the style of their works is unique.In particular,the Mogu painting,which was formed by Yun’s inheritance of Zhou’s use of color and the technique of striking water and color,is still pursued by many painters in the field of modern and contemporary painting.This paper traces back Yun Shouping’s origins,summarizes his color features,finds out the innovation of his artistic language,and applies it to my personal painting creation.The composition of this paper is as follows:Beginning part discusses the background and reasons for the formation of their painting language.It is essential to investigate the causes of painting language under the social and historical background;Next is their painting methods,namely "boneless method" and "sketching point leaf" method;The way of painting has a great influence on the color of the picture.The uniqueness of Yun Zhi’s color lies in the "Absence" and "bone" in his techniques;And then,which mainly studies Yun’s inheritance and innovation of Zhou’s color design,and explains the characteristics of Yun Shouping’s color design from the aspects of "water","ink","toner","color matching","hue","halo dyeing" and "light feeling",and gives examples;The fourth chapter is the great enlightenment to future generations and my creation,and the embodiment of the study of Zhou and Yun’s technique coloring in my creation process.It makes a brief introduction with several personal self-painted creations;The last essential part is the epilogue. |
