As we all know,China and Vietnam have a long history of exchanges in traditional culture,language and characters ect.With the development of social economy,the cooperative relationship between China and Vietnam is expending,and more and more Vietnamese people are learning Chinese.At the same time,the research on Vietnamese students’ Chinese acquisition has also achieved fruitful results.Beside,in recent times,the primary research on the relationship between language and culture has yielded tremendous results,and the theoretical model related to culture in second language acquisition has been more consolidated.Among them,how cultural identity factors affect the learning effect of foreign language learners has gradually attracted the attention of second language researchers.In searching and reading the previous research literature,the author found that there are still much problems for research on the relationship between cultural identity and Chinese language acquisition.Up to now,there has been little systematic studies about the relationship between cultural identity and Vietnamese students’ Chinese learning.The author hopes to expand research in this field,and through the results of analysis,provide some inspiration for Chinese teaching in Vietnam to make a contribution to improving the effect of Chinese teaching and learning.The research methods mainly include literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,and statistical analysis.The research objectives of this paper are to solve the following problems:First,how Vietnamese Chinese majors identify with Chinese culture.Specifically,by investigating the identity of Vietnamese Chinese Majors in four levels: language and culture,society and values,we can understand the situation of Vietnamese learners’ Chinese cultural identity,and then explore the factors affecting Vietnamese Chinese majors’ Chinese cultural identity.Second,through relevant research results,in-depth study of all aspects of Vietnamese students’ Chinese cultural identity affect their learning of Chinese,including personal factors and Chinese courses.Specifically,in terms of personal factors,this paper aims to explore the relationship between Chinese cultural identity and Chinese learners’ emotions and motivation.In terms of Chinese curriculum,this study explores the impact of Chinese cultural identity on each Chinese course,finds out its impact degree is consistent with those studied by predecessors,and then put forward relevant suggestions on Chinese teaching and learning in Vietnam.This paper is followed by six parts,including the introduction,which introduces the research background and significance,basis theoretical research,research methods,and related literature review.The first chapter is is the research object and the design of questionnaires and interviews.The second chapter analyzes the current situation of the cultural identity of Chinese majors students.The third chapter is the data analysis of the factors affecting the cultural identity of Vietnamese Chinese majors.The fourth chapter is the data analysis of the influence of Vietnamese Chinese majors on Chinese language learning,and the fifth chapter is China Suggestions on Chinese language teaching in Vietnam from the perspective of cultural identity.
