Gao Panlong And His Study On Poetry

Gao Panlong was born in the late Ming Dynasty,and has multiple identities as a Confucianist,a political activist and a literati.As a Neo-Confucianist,while advocating Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism,he could also take the essence of Yangming’s Mind Learning.A political activist,he was one of the leaders of the Donglin Party.As a literati,he has works in various fields such as sparse prose,lecture notes,articles,poems,inscriptions,and poetry.This paper mainly focuses on Gao Panlong’s man and his poems,from two aspects.The first chapter mainly introduces Gao Panlong’s family background,life,writings and philosophical thoughts.In terms of family history and life,mainly from "Gao Zi’s Posthumous Letter" compiled by Gao Panlong’s family member Chen Longzheng,and Gao’s family member Hua Yuncheng’s "Gao Zhongxiangong Chronicle" Starting with the "Gao Zhongxian Gong Chronicle" compiled by Gao Panlong’s Jizi Gao Shining and other documents,it sorts out and analyzes Gao Panlong’s family background and life,divides his life into three periods: early,middle and late,and summarizes Gao Panlong’s main experience..In terms of writings,the author systematically sorts out Gao Panlong’s writings by synthesizing previous research results.In the aspect of Neo-Confucianism thought,it mainly starts from the examination of objects and knowledge,and analyzes its Neo-Confucianism tendency in combination with his poetry and prose works.The second chapter mainly studies the subject matter and content of Gao Panlong’s poems,makes a preliminary summary of Gao Panlong’s poems,divides Gao Panlong’s poems into leisure poems,philosophy poems,chanting poems and other types of poems,and analyzes each type of poems in detail.The unique charm contained in similar poetry works,such as leisurely leisure poems,philosophical poems expressing philosophical thoughts,and emotionally complex poems on Huai Huai,etc.The third chapter mainly analyzes the artistic characteristics of Gao Panlong’s poetry,focusing on the following three aspects.The first section analyzes the characteristics of Gao Panlong’s poetry and poetry to send emotions and restrain them.is somewhat restrained.The second section mainly analyzes the artistic features of Gao Panlong’s poetry against nature.The third section mainly analyzes the selection of images with personal characteristics in Gao Panlong’s poems,the selection of "chrysanthemum" and "bamboo" images,the use of "water" elements,and then to understand Gao Panlong’s straight and noble personality.The whole chapter analyzes the artistic features of Gao Panlong’s poetry by analyzing the text of Gao Panlong’s poetry.The fourth chapter is mainly about the evaluation and understanding of Gao Panlong and his poetry,combing and analyzing the evaluation of Gao Panlong and his poetry by poets in Ming and Qing Dynasties,and combining with the background of the late Ming poetry circle,the achievements of Gao Panlong’s poetry Briefly analyze the existing limitations.
