| As a very common social activity,large-scale sports events attract the attention of the world with its unique charm,and become the best carrier for various information transmission.The countries and regions hosting the event have also attracted wide attention,and the national image and regional culture can be effectively spread.There are various means of information publicity around an event,and the means of dissemination show a diversified trend.Among them,the role of the mascot of the competition cannot be ignored.As an important sports event,the Asian Games are held in rotation each time,and each session has an exclusive mascot.The mascot bears the important functions of showing the spirit of the Asian Games,spreading the national culture and promoting regional exchanges.This paper focuses on the ethnic elements contained in the Asian Games mascot design,conducts in-depth research on its cultural communication function,analyzes the internal correlation between the two,and explores the mascot design elements,design languages,and design principles.significant effect.This paper adopts the method of literature research,inductive summary and comparative analysis to classify and study the mascot designs of the ninth to nineteenth Asian Games,analyze the regional elements contained therein,and refine the designs of the mascots of the Asian Games in different venues.Principles and design methods,and their remarkable achievements in disseminating national and urban regional culture,establishing national image,and highlighting national characteristics.Then,the effective design paths and design trends of Asian Games mascots are summarized,and professional reference opinions are provided for the design and implementation of Asian Games mascots based on specific communication purposes from the perspective of design methodology.And apply the research results to design practice.This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction,which introduces the research background and significance,research content and framework,research status and literature review,research methods and innovations of the thesis.The second part,the second chapter,is to study the concept,origin and current situation of the research subject.For example,the national cultural elements,the origin and development of the Asian Games mascots,and the prominent functions of the Asian Games mascots in information carrying and dissemination are analyzed,summarized and refined.The third part,the third chapter,is the core chapter of the thesis,which analyzes and studies the design principles and design methods of Asian Games mascots.Classify the mascots of the 9th to 19 th Asian Games,study from four aspects:element extraction,shape design,color matching and communication forms,and analyze the extraction,presentation and implementation of ethnic cultural elements in the design of Asian Games mascots path.The fourth part,the fourth chapter,deduces the future design trend of mascots with the mascots of previous Asian Games benchmarking against other large-scale sports event mascots,and conducts design practice accordingly.Suppose Zhengzhou is a possible future host city for the Asian Games to do mascot design.Adhering to the national cultural dissemination function of the Asian Games mascots,practice the presentation of national cultural elements in the Zhengzhou Asian Games mascot design,and integrate the Central Plains culture into the Asian Games mascot design. |
