| Public health emergencies have increased the difficulty of guiding public opinion,and various online information has emerged in an endless stream.However,many media unilaterally pursue practicality,play tricks on the epidemic,mislead the public to make wrong choices,and disrupt the normal social order.News commentary is an authoritative form to guide public opinion.As a TV news commentary program full of thoughtful depth,Newsweek provides an important paradigm for judging hot events,conveying correct values,and guiding public opinion.It has contributed to urging social progress and creating a harmonious social atmosphere.Based on Systemic Functional Linguistics and Social Interaction Linguistics,this paper analyzes with Halliday’s functional grammar,Kreis and Van Loeven’s visual grammar theory and evaluation theory as theoretical frameworks.The visual modality and auditory modality of "Newsweek",as an important part of the internal symbol system,play a major role in the process of commenting the discourse meaning transmission.In the era of convergent media,language modalities and audio-visual symbols are difficult to separate.Therefore,this paper chooses to analyze visual modalities and auditory modalities,and integrates language modalities into the two major modalities for analysis.The full text consists of four chapters.The first chapter analyzes the meaning construction of visual modalities.The research finds that the content of the problem and its importance,the development process of the event and the subsequent processing results are constructed in a representational way in the visual image.Image composition is designed to highlight important information.In the process of visual symbols producing discourse meaning,language words and image resources realize meaning construction through symbol interaction.Words focus on domestic dynamics and cooperate with the visual content presented by image resources,leading the recipient to deeply reflect on social phenomena,analyze social problems,and demonstrate Social phenomenon.The second chapter analyzes the meaning construction of the auditory modality.The simultaneous sound reflects the real social situation and enhances the credibility of the content;the host summarizes the content of the speech,connects the previous and the next,and communicates with the viewer on an equal basis;the dubbing and music are integrated with the picture to sublimate the emotion.In the process of auditory symbols producing discourse meaning,language,words and sound resources realize meaning construction through the interaction of symbols,and words use rigorous discourse logic,resolute and decisive modal expression and positive feelings to establish contact with the recipient,and realize the transmission of interpersonal meaning.Simplify the language by using multiple functions of the text,shorten the distance between the two sides of the discourse,and finally construct the commentary discourse under the presentation of different voices and intonations.The third chapter analyzes the symbolic functions of the three modalities,clarifies the relationship between modalities and how synesthesia communicates among various senses,and finally maximizes the role of commentary discourse.This paper argues that although the discourse meaning of TV news commentary is mainly realized by synaesthesia visual and auditory symbols,commentary is a special discourse type,and the text content still dominates the language modality.,a means of enhancing the meaning transmission of comment discourse.Based on the above analysis,the fourth chapter studies the construction path of TV news commentary discourse and its meaning value orientation.Based on the context of commentary discourse,it points out that the construction path of news commentary discourse is mainly knowledge construction,identity construction and media presentation.The three dimensions of public opinion guidance and ideological construction explore the value orientation behind TV news commentary,and explore the construction path and effect of discourse. |
