A Study On The Symbiotic Relationship Between Lyrics And Music Of Folk Songs In Mainland China Since The 21st Centur

The Chinese folk-styled songs have been fermented thousands of years by Chinese culture,and countless classics have been circulated up to now.Since the21 st century,it has integrated China and the West,radiated strong vitality,and had a phenomenon-level development.Based on the text of the Chinese folk-styled songs in the 21 st century,this paper analyzes internally the relationship of its lyrics and music by case study and text analysis with theories like Symbiotic theory,semiotics theory and methodology of music linguistics etc.The full text is divided into four parts: The first chapter sorts out the process and development status of mainland folk songs in the21 st century from the perspective of historical development.In the 1980 s and 1990 s,mainland folk songs showed a special group of Chinese localization,cultural interaction,and the mainstream folk song creation group with campus folk songwriters.After the21 st century,compared with the mainstream of the campus creation group at the end of the last century,the main group of folk songs creation has gradually expanded to a wider folk group,making it have a broader folk character,and it is also more inclined to the general public in terms of subject matter and form.The language with different tones into the music has created a special situation of the diversity of folk songs in Chinese mainland.Based on the use of language,various types of folk songs in Mandarin,dialect and national languages have been formed.The second chapter explores the process of the symbiotic movement of the lyrics and music of mainland folk songs.In terms of the compatibility rate(ie symbiosis)formed during the combination of word tone,intonation and rhythm with tunes of folk songs,compared with the compatibility rate of other popular songs,it is found that its lyrics and music have a higher compatibility rate in form.Therefore,the tone greatly affects the creation of folk songs.However,based on the aesthetic requirements of music,the tune also has a certain degree of initiative.The third chapter uses the text content of the lyrics and music as the research corpus,and analyzes the process of unifying the "meaning" and "emotion","thinking" and "circumstance","form" and "spirit" of the lyrics and music in the narrative expression of mainland folk songs.The lyrics and music are based on their own symbolic features,and they complement each other in the process of combining.The subject matter,theme,artistic image and emotional connotation of the tune are closely related to mutual observation and interpretation.Compare to the popular songs giving priority to the melody,the expression of the theme of the lyrics in the folk songs is more focused,and the melody well tally with the subject and theme of lyrics,and finally forms a complete musical work.The fourth chapter analyzes the pluralistic values of the mainland folk songs in the 21 st century based on the complete art form formed by the combination of the lyrics and music of the mainland folk songs.In the combination of lyrics and music of folk songs,the tunes better fit and obey the tone of the lyrics,and the lyrics maintain the necessary musicality and their own literary aesthetic value as much as possible.After the completion of the symbiosis movement,the artistic value of lyrics and music was integrated and unified.Compared with other popular songs,folk songs are easier to understand while ensuring a better sense of hearing,and the aesthetic difficulty is reduced,thereby enhancing the popularity and having more universal artistic value,economic value,humanistic value and other diversified values.
