Analysis On The Creative Characteristics And Performance Of Wang Lishan’s Piano Suite "Painting Of Kuiyi In Dongshan"

Piano suite Kuiyi Painting in Dongshan is an innovative piano work,which is the first milestone of Chinese piano music in the new era and has a pioneering significance.On the basis of inheriting traditional composing techniques,the composer also made creative explorations,integrating painting,poetry and music,combining Japanese duji mode with Chinese folk music,forming his own unique music style and creating piano music works with national character and innovation.This paper will analyze the four pieces of piano suite Kuiyi Painting in Dongshan from two aspects of creation characteristics and performance.First of all,the author makes a brief introduction to the creation background of Wang Lisan’s works.Secondly,the author analyzes the creative characteristics of Dongshan Kuiyi Painting from the combination of Chinese and Japanese artistic creation elements and the composition techniques based on tradition and innovation.Finally,the author analyzes the performance of Dongshan Kuiyi Painting from the aspects of multi-voice melody,free-form rhythm and musical conception.Through the analysis of this work,it aims to make the majority of music learners have a more comprehensive understanding of this work,can better grasp the music style of Wang Lishan’s piano works,and fully understand the diversified Chinese piano music works.
