| China’s local war of resistance is not only an important part of the War of Resistance Against Japan,but also the prelude to the Second World War-one of the local wars that have been fought over and over against around the world,which has aroused the attention of the international community.Under such an international situation,the newspapers and periodicals of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party increased their coverage of international news,analyzed and judged the international situation,introduced the international war to readers,and stimulated the enthusiasm of the people to participate in the war.However,the newspapers and periodicals of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party are guided by different political ideologies.Will they be influenced by the party and make different choices when reporting on international news?The study found that in terms of international news reporting,"Red China" focused on the News of the Soviet Union and Japan,while "Joong Ang Daily" focused on events related to European and American countries;Both newspapers focused on international military and diplomatic news;The international news reports of the "Joong Ang Daily" are mostly reprinted from major foreign news agencies,and "Red China" is mainly copied by the Red Army radio;in terms of genre,the international news reports of the two newspapers are mainly news.The study found that in terms of international news reports,the CCP newspapers focused on the Soviet Union and Japan,while the Kuomintang newspapers focused on related events in European and American countries.Both parties’ newspapers and periodicals focus on international military and diplomatic news;the international news reports of the Kuomintang newspapers and periodicals are mostly reprinted from major foreign news agencies,and the CCP’s newspapers and periodicals are mainly copied by the Red Army Radio Station.The headlines of the international news reports of the CCP’s newspapers are contagious.The headlines of the Kuomintang newspapers are rational and objective.The international news reports of the two parties’ newspapers are mainly news.Through analysis,it is found that during the partial war of resistance against Japan,the contents of the newspapers and periodicals of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party converged,and both had the purpose of mobilizing public opinion,and showed differences in reporting bias and language style.In the end,the paper summarizes the limitations of the bipartisan press in international news reporting,and extracts implications for current international news reporting. |
