The Decorative Pattern Design And Application Of Peony Image

Peony has a high status in China and was once regarded as the national flower to enjoy the reputation of "the king of flowers".Because of its large flower shape and fragrant smell,it is also known as "national color and heavenly fragrance".Peony flowers have long been regarded as a symbol of wealth and good fortune,and their elegant natural form is in line with Chinese people’s desire for perfection.As a decorative pattern with peony flower as the theme,peony decoration is a very important member of the Traditional Chinese decorative pattern,is the crystallization of the wisdom of the people,is a symbol of the national spirit.Through consulting the relevant materials of peony decoration and searching the application of peony pattern,this paper finds that most of the peony decoration is not quite in line with the aesthetic feelings of the majority of modern young people,and the lack of innovation in design,while the aesthetic orientation of modern young people is mostly located in simplicity,interest,abstraction and fashion.The innovation of this paper is to refine the traditional peony decoration,and then design the refined elements in a simple and interesting way,so that the new graphics have more modern aesthetic awareness,so as to realize the inheritance and development of traditional culture.This creation takes peony decoration as the research object,through the change of its form,color and combination form,designs three sets of peony elements as the theme of bedding four sets,so that it meets the modern aesthetic needs,can be widely popular among the general public,and is closely connected with the general emotion of the general public.
