Research On The Polyphonic Techniques Of Chen Yi's Chamber Music Work

Chen Yi is a Chinese female composer blooming in the contemporary composition circle.Her works have won many international composition awards and have been recognized by the composition circles at home and abroad.She makes full use of western composition techniques to show her own traditional cultural heritage.The performance of each work can cause a wave in the music circle at home and abroad.She takes Chinese traditional cultural materials as the source of creation,carries out systematic music learning and diversified life experiences,and forms her unique music style.In this paper,three mixed chamber music,Ning,Hu Qin suite and happy rain on a spring night,were selected as the research objects.These three mixed chamber music were created during the ten years after his doctoral graduation.Happy rain on a spring night was his work within three years after he won the Ives award.This paper is divided into three movements.The first chapter is the introduction of Chen Yi and the overall analysis of the background and main materials of the three chamber music works.The second chapter analyzes the counterpoint of the three works from the perspective of modern,Chinese and western traditional polyphony techniques,and explores Chen Yi’s personalized polyphony techniques and thinking in her creation.The third chapter selects the Music Aesthetics Perspective of music noumenon in aesthetics,summarizes Chen Yi’s aesthetic thought in her creation and its positive impact on the development of Chinese polyphony thinking.At the same time,it creatively puts forward the view of the third form polyphony,which is completely based on the use of polyphony techniques and works of Chen Yi,using the description of music morphology.Through the analysis and research of Chen Yi’s three works,we can have a deeper understanding of how Chen Yi presents Chinese traditional cultural materials in front of the world with the help of western composition techniques,and provide some reference for others to understand Chen Yi’s music language and style,creative thinking,etc.in the future.
