| The ontological cognition of Chinese documentary is derived from TV feature films and constructed in the gradual cognition of documentary realism.The budding of new life always implies a variety of possibilities.The creators who are independent of the official context abandon the grand perspective and heroic narrative and explore the possibility of documentary as an individual expression.By analyzing the three dimensions of survival picture,subject aspect and image composition,we can analyze the individual expression of independent documentary people in the special living situation,and further explore the edge characteristics of Chinese independent documentary.The first chapter retrospects the establishment process of Chinese documentary ontology and analyzes the foundation of independent documentary research.In addition,the marginal situation of independent documentaries is confirmed according to the difficulties of funds and broadcast channels that independent documentaries have always faced since their birth.At the end of 1980 s,documentary makers who had not yet been separated from the mode of TV feature films first gained training in the sino-foreign co-production projects,actively explored and tried the transformation of documentary perspective and form,and achieved preliminary results.Later,Chinese creators learned from foreign independent documentary masters,accepted the western documentary concept,and finally confirmed the documentary ontology cognition pursued by the concept of documentary realism.At the same time,independent documentary creators actively try to cooperate with the system,and also explore new production ideas by means of digital shooting equipment.In this process,they find a place to live in accordance with their own pursuit from the context of exile,and find their own living space in the media gap.The second chapter discusses the vision and subject orientation of independent documentary from the perspective of individual expression and marginal situation in the context of the dramatic changes of Chinese society around the 21 st century.From "Wandering in Beijing",a representative independent text,it is confirmed that independent documentary is created from its own starting point,and identity and emotional resonance are its most fundamental creative impulses.Due to the marginalization of their own situation and the creation concept based on folk standpoint,independent documentary creators firmly focus on the people who have not been taken care of by mainstream discourse in the process of national modernization to achieve a relatively pure personalized image creation.The third chapter takes the creation process of independent documentary as the starting point to analyze the image construction of independent documentary.The single-camera shooting mode of independent documentary is not only out of cost control,but also a unique way to integrate into the on-site environment,which is complementary to the independent production mode.Through the analysis of representative video texts,this chapter divides the shooting ideas of independent documentaries into physical response and time flow.The former emphasizes the sense of presence and experience,while the latter emphasizes more detailed observation and deeper film connotation.In the editing stage,independent documentaries have fewer shackles and can more flexibly realize the original idea of creation and achieve the demands of production.The conclusion part summarizes the historical value of Chinese independent documentaries as individual observation and video recording in addition to ideological macro writing.At the same time,it is pointed out that in the era of national image,independent film creators must establish their significance of existence in the frenzy of consumerism and explosive growth of media,revive the humanistic spirit,and find the unique perspective and depth of Chinese independent documentary. |
