Flow art is a base movement art form with roots in the circus and the martial arts,currently it is still in development and seeking to be defined as a formal art form.The term Flow art is mostly used in the United States,in the rest of the world it is also known by;spinning props,fire spinning,props manipulation,fire dance,spinning art,or simply circus art.This research makes use of contemporary dance looking to improve the stage performance capacity of Flow art,seeking to enhance the elements of dance and body expression.Under this propose made use of one of the classic characteristics of contemporary dance which is the use of dramaturgy.In the first two chapters is exposed the definition of Flow art,its history and its current position as a performance art in the world,additionally to a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences between contemporary dance and flow art,looking for a better understanding of the contributions that each art can offer to the other.In the third chapter,research of the techniques contributed by Jacquec Lecop dance and theater partitioning was carried out,to identify appropriate methods to bring the dramaturgy and the body movement characteristic of contemporary dance to the flow art choreographic pieces.The last chapters are based on the practical research of these methods through the creation of Flow art choreographies following the theoretical bases exposed in this research paper,in addition to the creation of the《BOUNDLESS》work which contains all these choreographies under the same narrative.
