| Although both non-fiction literature and comics are just modern concepts,non-fiction comics,as a type of artistic expression that employs continuous images to convey real events,almost runs through the entire history of China and the West,and plays an important role in the research of Chinese and Western art.At the moment,the domestic research is mostly focused on literature and film,and research on continuous image art,including non-fiction comics,is also rather restricted.More research is being conducted on the evolution history of the whole general concept of comics,visual symbols,expressive forms and other external forms.At the same time,art therapy has emerged as a new and the hot research direction in recent years.Western art therapy research has a relatively complete theoretical research system and market medical system,but domestic research of art therapy in aesthetics has a specific base.Nowadays,the art healing function of non-fiction comics has been subtly widely circulated in the commercial market.However,neither in China nor in the West has a specific research judgement been made on the theoretical research on the art psychotherapy of non-fiction comics,which is a documentary continuous picture story.This paper investigates and evaluates the brain’s consciousness and cognition,the principle of information generation in the brain,the encoding structure of memory,and the interpretation of image information using cognitive psychology theory.On this basis,in 2017,Ann grant comics festival best work,Paysage Apres La Bataille,is given priority to case combining with the relevant cases have been published in the commercial market and the author’s own creation course,in today’s visual culture under the background of the theoretical basis of non-fiction comics,visual symbol of inner language,expression technique of art therapy,healing practices of art therapy for exploration and comprehensive analysis.This study focuses on exploring the changes and influences of visual narrative form of non-fiction comics on psychological structure,as well as the practical operating methods of artistic healing of specific non-fiction comics.The paper consists of an introduction,five main chapters and a conclusion.The introduction part clarifies the source of this topic,and comprehensively discusses the research background and the status quo of non-fiction comics and art healing at home and abroad.At the same time,four key terms in the topic,art healing,non-fiction,non-fiction comics,and graphic medicine,are introduced and summarized structurally from their definitions and historical roots,and the close relationship among them is discussed.The first chapter mainly describes the basic concepts of consciousness and cognition in the brain and the translation process that they trigger the generation of original information,discusses the structure and expression of internal and external information language of memory,and explores the origin of image information production and interpretation.The second chapter describes several classic mechanisms of the generation of traumatic memory,and discusses the corresponding image decoding methods based on the typical subconscious representation techniques of images in Landscape after War,and discusses the core issues of the generation of traumatic memory.The third chapter,taking Landscape after The War as an example,focuses on the influence of language and non-verbal information of the visual symbols of non-fiction comics on emotional expression and psychotherapy methods from the aspects of color,frame,text,perspective and body.The fourth chapter studies the therapeutic effect of different types of non-fiction comics narration on creators and readers from the perspective of different non-fiction comics creators.In this chapter,in addition to the specific case analysis of non-fiction comics published in the market including Paysage Apres La Bataille,In addition,the author summarizes the previous theoretical analysis in stages based on the interviews and quotations of non-fiction comics writers in China and the author’s own creation practice.The fifth chapter verifies and summarizes the application and feasibility of narrative and visual symbols of non-fiction comics in the practice of psychotherapy by combining specific art therapy practice tests of non-fiction comics,and makes predictions and prospects for the development model of psychotherapy of non-fiction comics in the future.This paper studies and tests the theory and practice of art healing in nonfiction comics from the perspectives of creators,readers and participants.The author hopes to develop more possibilities for the social function of the current non-fiction comic art market,and at the same time,to provide a research reference and inspiration for the therapeutic method of continuous image narrative of art healing.It is hoped that readers can find practical and feasible psychological healing practice methods from this paper. |
