| As a high-frequency sentence pattern in modern Chinese, serial verb sentence is also one of the earliest sentence patterns that Chinese learners come into contact with.Because of its structural particularity and semantic complexity, learners often make mistakes in the learning process. However, the use of serial verbs is not unique to Chinese, and there are similar phenomena in English and Korean, but the expressions are different. What are the characteristics of the errors that native English and native Korean Chinese learners make when using Chinese serial verb sentence? What are the commonalities and differences in bias? To what extent is the bias influenced by the native language? This article explores these issues. Therefore, this paper first sorts out the grammar research of serial verb sentence and the research in the field of Chinese as a foreign language, and then searches errors from the "HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus Version 2.0" and the "Global Interlanguage Corpus" for learners whose native language is English and Korean.Error sentences, the obtained error corpus is divided into four categories: "sequential error","omission error ","addition error ","substitution",and each type of serial verb sentence is classified and explained in more detail. It was found that native English speakers accounted for the highest proportion of errors in "addition error",while native speakers of Korean accounted for the highest proportion of errors in sequential error. Then, based on the concept transfer theory, this paper analyzes the typical errors in various types of errors, discusses whether some of the errors are related to the concept of the mother language, and draws the conclusion: the learners whose mother language is Korean produce the wrong order of VP1 and VP2.The error is related to the concept of word order;when expressing the serial verb sentence with the help of external tools, similar to the semantics of "Yong+N1+VP2" in Chinese,Korean native speakers have V1 omission error, while English native speakers are expressing two actions Linkages are often mistakenly added with conjunctions, which are all related to the grammatical concepts of English and Korean;the misplacement of directional verbs is caused by the differences in lexical concepts in the three languages. Finally, this paper puts forward suggestions on the teaching of Chinese serial verb sentence from the perspectives of chart formula method, classroom teaching and textbook compilation, hoping to bring help to teaching. |
