Study On The Sky Phase Map Of Kizil Grottoes

Kizil Grottoes is a valuable material cultural heritage in China.Ancient believers used grottoes murals to create atmosphere,spread teachings and publicize Buddhism.Sky phase map is the characteristic theme of Kizil grottoes,with strong Central Asian and local characteristics,and the number of preservation.This paper takes the sky phase map of Kizil Grottoes as the research object to find the historical origin of the sky phase map itself and the image evolution process,and further explore the social and historical reasons behind it.Buddhism originated in primitive India and spread to the western regions along the trade routes of Central Asia.Qiuci region,where the Kizil Grottoes are located,is an important Buddhist center in Xinjiang.Due to the special geographical position of Kizil Grottoes,it not only carries the image of religious culture,but also vividly records the evolution process of the emergence,eastward spread and localization of Buddhism.Buddhist fresco is a kind of religious art,which in the final analysis comes from the objective reality.Therefore,it also reflects the real life at that time to a certain extent and contains abundant religious,historical and cultural information.Behind the artistic images,there are profound cultural connotations.It has high artistic and historical research value.At the present stage,the academic circle has made some in-depth studies on Kizil Grottoes,especially the breakthrough in the identification of its age and mural themes.However,there are gaps in the classification of the theme of sky phase map,its cultural sources and theme evolution.Based on the day of kizil grottoes in the graph is the research object,this research will be fully collecting kizil grottoes day phase diagram of the related data,give priority to with image analysis,using multidisciplinary perspective,from the etymology and the image evolution,a systemic discussion of kizil grottoes day phase diagram,explore in different periods of days phase diagram of the subject content,artistic form,painting theme and religious ideas;Combined with the social background,religious thought development,folk customs and customs of the corresponding period,this paper systematically discusses the internal and external causes of the formation and maturity of the sky phase map image.In addition,a horizontal comparison with the bamiyan grottoes in Central Asia,grottoes in other parts of Xinjiang and grottoes in northwest China is made to discuss the development and influence of the sky phase map in Kizil grottoes,and explore the historical and cultural significance hidden behind the sky phase map.The historical evolution of Kizil sky phase map is a "living fossil" of politics,economy and culture in the Western regions.It is the cultural confirmation of qiuci’s history,economy and culture,people’s conditions and the spread of Buddhist culture.
