Dilemma And Redemption: On The Writing Of Family Ethics In Bi Feiyu's Novel

Bi Feiyu takes the family as a window,interpreting the life of ordinary individuals in a limited space,showing the most real changes of human nature,the picture of the times and the social spirit in the fission of intimate relationships,conveying his own ethical pursuit and the value standpoint in the critique and the disclosure,and calling for the free,healthy and good moral life.This paper takes the family ethics relationship in Bi Feiyu’s novels as the research object,and combines the narrative ethics and other related theories,trying to make a deep and detailed analysis of the writer’s ethical writing,and explore the deep meaning of Bi Feiyu’s ethical writing.This paper is divided into four parts.The introduction part systematically sorts out the research status of Bi Feiyu’s novels in academia,introduces the research ideas and significance of this paper,and explains the related concepts of ethics and family ethics.The first chapter starts with Bi Feiyu’s specific novels,sorts out and analyzes the ethical conflicts and ethical dilemmas among generations,husbands and wives,and siblings.In Bi Feiyu’s novels,there are different degrees of contradictions and estrangements between family members,such as father and son against each other,mother and daughter alienation,separation of husband and wife,brother cannibalism and so on.But in the process of revealing and analyzing family conflicts,Bi Feiyu ’ s novels show the tension of ethical reflection.The second chapter explores the cultural reflection spirit behind the ethical dilemma from the two dimensions of external civilization regulations and internal darkness of humanity.Bi Feiyu not only presents the ethical dilemma in front of readers,but also pours a clear reflective consciousness behind the dilemma.He tortures history,culture and human nature with an uncompromising attitude,trying to find out the dark hand behind the scenes that pushes innocent lives to the dark abyss,and draws attention to the curative effect.The deep-rooted patriarchal culture and the collective unconscious accumulated in the depths of national spirit are the starting points for Bi Feiyu to reflect on traditional culture.The impact of individualistic values on the human order and the castration of local civilization by modern urban culture are the landing points of Bi Feiyu’s critique of modern civilization.At the same time,Bi Feiyu ’ s ethical writing asks for the more hidden depths of the soul,expressing his gaze and attention to life through revealing and reflecting on the weakness of human nature.In Bi Feiyu ’ s writings,nothing can escape the gaze of judgment,and therefore,the text is filled with poetic justice,glowing with lasting charm.The third chapter discusses the redemption and reconstruction of the ethical order in Bi Feiyu’s novels.Facing the disintegration of family and love,Bi Feiyu did not stop at exposing and criticizing,but gave redemption and hope to his characters by means of "intervention".They either understand the meaning of family in daily trivialities,or assume the responsibility of family in the watch of love,or imagine the beauty of love and the harmony of family in fantasy dreams,and make up for the defects of reality with the ideal world.This attitude also shows the author ’ s ethical concern for ’ human ’and the persistent pursuit of poetic survival,reflecting the mission and ethics of humanistic intellectuals,and also a profound response to humanitarian.
