| In the early 20 th century,under the multiple influences of Western economy,politics and culture,Chinese literati gradually turned their attention to the West,and two major sects of "revolutionary sect" and "traditional sect" emerged in the field of painting.These two sects merged and influenced each other,refreshed the appearance of Chinese painting,and brought the development of Chinese painting during the Republic of China to another prosperity period after the Tang and Song Dynasties.Chen Shaomei devoted his whole life to traditional landscape painting.He started from the painting method of the Northern Sect,which was not valued by the art world,and further studied the painting of the Southern Sect.He took the bold and vigorous brushstrokes of the Northern Sect,creating an innovative landscape painting style of "the Southern Wind and the North Bone" that integrates the Northern Sect and the Southern Sect.Together with Qi Baishi,Zhang Daqian and Fu Baoshi,they are known as the "Four Great Masters of Painting in the Republic of China",and have a pivotal position in the painting world.This article begins with the development of Chen Shaomei’s landscape painting,analyzes the style characteristics of Chen Shaomei’s landscape painting in different periods,and explores the specific style of Chen Shaomei’s landscape painting artistic language and the value of landscape painting.The thesis is divided into four parts:First,it introduces Chen Shaomei’s artistic course,including her life experience and the artistic activities she participated in.Second,the development of Chen Shaomei is divided into exploratory period in the1930 s,formative period in the 1940 s and innovative period in the 1950 s.The analysis of Chen Shaomei’s painting style in the exploratory period was influenced by family style and guided by his teacher.During this period,he took the ancient as his teacher and transformed the ancient into me.In the formative period into the traditional Northern school techniques,the formation of the north bone south style of painting;In the period of innovation,he changed his painting ideas,paid attention to sketching,and created a large number of sketches reflecting life.During this period,he constantly broke through the tradition,and his pictures were more contemporary and realized the innovation of landscape painting.Third,analyzing the specific characteristics of chapped method,tree method and coloring in Chen Shaomei’s landscape paintings in different periods,and exploring them in combination with the works.Fourth,it analyzes the value and limitation of Chen Shaomei’s landscape painting.On the one hand,it analyzes the literati painting style that Chen Shao-mei pays attention to the comprehensive cultivation of painting and pursues poetry,painting,calligraphy and printing as one.Figure painting and flower-and-bird painting help the development of landscape painting,and the function of Chen Shao-mei’s landscape painting thought to my study of landscape painting.On the other hand,analyzing Chen Shaomei’s landscape painting from the dialectical point of view has certain limitations.The artistic language and painting thought of Chen Shaomei’s landscape paintings are worthy of reference and inheritance.In recent years,the development of Chinese landscape painting has shown a trend of diversification.Re-examining Chen Shaomei’s painting ideas starting from tradition and adding innovation and emphasis on sketching practice has certain reference significance for learning traditional landscape painting. |
