"Helou Dance" or "Dancing Helou","Singing Helou",is a kind of mask dance holding torches,rice spikes and tin canes and other props,belongs to the Lingnan Wudu dance category,popular in Guangdong Province,Yangjiang,Yunfu,Taishan,Huazhou and other places,of which the Helou dance in the Yunan Liantan area is the most stylistic and representative,Liantan Helou dance has experienced more than 2,000 years of development and transformation,witnessed the historical memory of the ancestors of the Lingnan people,is the treasure crystallization of the ancient Yue rice culture in dance,has a rich cultural heritage,In 2008,it was selected into the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.Yunan is the intersection of Guangdong culture and Gui culture,absorbing the ideas of Confucianism,Taoism and Interpretation introduced from the Central Plains,and the Liantan Helou dance culture with an open,compatible,pragmatic and innovative spirit also absorbs the essence of the Central Plains,absorbs the new winds of the four seas,and the development of modern civilization has changed the traditional rice cultivation methods in the past,and also impacted the living and development environment of Liantan Helou Dance.As a cultural phenomenon,Liantan Helou Dance has unique dance cultural value and cultural characteristics of non-verbal writing,and is an important part of China’s traditional culture,and its significant feature is to closely follow the life of the masses,people-centered living fluidity,and at the same time is the embodiment of national personality and aesthetic preferences under the folk field,which also makes Liantan Helou Dance have a strong sense of cultural identity and historical belonging.China is in the midst of major changes unprecedented in a century,even the Tanhelou Dance has ushered in a new era of opportunities,the original way of working has been updated,in the "intangible cultural heritage heat",we need more "cold thinking".In the contemporary era of rapid scientific and technological development,mechanization has replaced the traditional farming methods,and Liantan Helou Dance is a significant representative of agricultural culture dance in Lingnan region,which is crucial to the contemporary value study of Liantan Helou Dance and the influence of rice cultivation culture.This paper is divided into six parts,the first chapter is the introduction part,which expounds the research background,significance and current situation of the paper,and determines the methodological route of the paper research;the second chapter briefly summarizes the connotation of rice cultivation culture and summarizes its cultural characteristics;the third chapter returns to the dance ontology of Liantan Helou Dance and sorts out and summarizes its expressive characteristics;the fourth chapter places the Helou dance in a multi-dimensional space where diachronic and synchronic interweaving,focusing on cultural integration and contemporary changes,and conducting research on the contemporary value of Helou dance;the fifth chapter is based on the analysis of the previous article The final conclusion partially summarizes the core points of this paper,on the one hand,to promote the development of excellent traditional culture,on the other hand,it hopes to be corrected by experts,scholars and peers,and lay a solid theoretical foundation for the stage creation practice of Helou dance in the later stage.
