Research On The Visual Image Design Of Mulao Based On Regional Culture

Mulao Mulao culture is an important part of China’s ethnic culture.Based on the field investigation and visits to the social and geographical environment,historical culture,festivals,myths,legends,and ancient dwelling architecture of the Gutai Mulao Autonomous Township in Liucheng County,the only one in China,this paper composes the historical and present situation of the Mulao regional culture,explores the characteristics of the Mulao ethnic culture,explores the path of protection and inheritance of the Mulao culture,and applies the modern art design methodology to the Mulao ethnic culture This paper adopts the literature method--the literature method and the design method.This paper generally adopts the "five means"(reference reading,field research,interview,comparative analysis,and case study)to implement the investigation route.representative symbols of Mulao ethnic culture and the classic legends and stories of historical and cultural inheritance are extracted to carry out visual innovation design.The design process incorporates the totem culture,natural culture,and other ethnic cultural features of the Gutai area as design elements.Moreover,the Mulao ethnic culture is visualized and given to ethnic brand promotion,cultural and creative design,and art education courses.Furthermore,the paper promotes the development of local ethnic culture,rural cultural communication,the branding of cultural tourism,ethnic unity,and ethnic cultural revitalization.
