| The twenty-four solar terms are a historical product of farming civilization.While mapping the changes of the four seasons,they also provide astronomical knowledge and regional production experience for ancient labor and farming.The nation advocates the revival of traditional culture,making the study of traditional Chinese cultural symbols become a trend.The inheritance and exploration of solar term culture should adapt to the needs of contemporary development and the development direction of cultural and creative industries at this stage.In this context,a visual research idea of combining solar term culture and city image is proposed,and a practical method of combining regional culture and solar term culture is constructed.Qingdao is a famous tourist city for its marine and continental culture.By systematically sorting out Qingdao cultural symbols,folk customs,and geographical features,this paper establishes a material library that is combined with solar terms culture.This paper sets four design principles in the early stage of visual design,which are the symbolic processing of traditional solar terms cultural materials,the reference idea of IP-based traditional solar terms images,the thinking of traditional solar terms branding,and the improvement of life aesthetics combined with the influence of traditional solar terms culture.In the process of design practice,three design methods are summarized: image abstraction method,traditional Chinese color visual balance method,story thinking and atmosphere creation method.Secondly,this paper analyzes the solar term culture and the city image based on the questionnaire survey,which provides reference data for the trend of design practice.Finally,through the screening of Qingdao city image scenic spots,and the visual design practice in combination with solar terms,the rationality of the design principles and methods is verified,and a feasible design method is provided for the visual design of solar terms culture and city image promotion. |
