| As education informatization enters the 2.0 era,the requirements for teachers’ application ability of information technology are getting higher and higher.At present,most of the research on information technology application ability at home and abroad focuses on the teachers who are in service,and there is a lack of research on normal students,who are the reserve of teachers and are equally important for the research of normal students.In order to promote the deep integration of information technology and discipline,it is necessary to put forward some pertinent strategies,which should be aimed at normal students in a certain specialty.This study focuses on normal students of English majors.English teaching in our country lacks language environment,and the rapid development of information technology brings new vitality to English teaching.Multimedia resources enrich the ways and means of English learning,externalize the abstract content,make it easier to carry out situational teaching,and enrich teaching resources to achieve the effect of doing half the work in some English teaching links.Based on a survey of the current situation and influencing factors of English majors’ ability to apply information technology,this study makes an in-depth analysis of the findings and puts forward some corresponding training strategies.Starting from the literature combing,the research progress on the application of information technology at home and abroad was collected,and 197 English major normal students from X Normal University,Y Foreign Languages University and Z Normal College were taken as the research objects.By means of questionnaire survey,this paper investigates the current situation of IT application ability of English major normal students and the factors affecting their IT application ability.Analysis of statistical results using SPSS analysis tools.The investigation found that the general information technology application ability of English major normal students meets the requirements.But there is room for improvement.Generally speaking,the basic technical literacy of English major normal students is higher than their technical support learning and technical support for English teaching.There are significant differences in the information technology application ability of English major normal students in different schools.Secondly,based on the results of the questionnaire analysis,a semi-structured interview outline was prepared to explore the reasons behind the phenomenon.Finally,through the analysis of the current situation and the influencing factors,the researcher tries to put forward the promotion strategies from the two major influencing factors.Based on the internal factors,this paper proposes that English major normal students should enhance their awareness of information technology,enhance their autonomous learning ability and pay attention to the research and innovation.Based on the external factors,this paper puts forward some suggestions,such as perfecting IT related curriculum system,strengthening the support of school resources,enhancing the role of teachers’ example,and attaching importance to the development of students’ practical ability.Among them,perfecting the system of information technology related courses includes adding required courses combining information technology with English,constantly updating and optimizing the content of information technology-related courses,and setting up advanced elective courses related to information technology.Strengthening school resources support includes paying attention to student needs in the construction of facilities,equipped with special personnel to provide support.Enhancing the role of teacher model demonstration and guidance includes improving the level of teachers’ own information technology application ability,giving full play to the role of example demonstration and guidance.Attaching importance to the development of practical ability of English major normal students includes increasing practical opportunities and providing support to English major normal students during internship. |
