| Vocabulary teaching is an important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Developing students’ ability to understand and express vocabulary in language communication,is an important task of vocabulary teaching.Vocabulary teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has always been relying on word-based teaching method.However,the word-based teaching method tends to help students know the words but not the Chinese characters itself.In contrast,the morpheme teaching method can develop students’ morpheme awareness,further help them understand how words are constructed,and let them learn to use Chinese to learn Chinese.Based on the author’s practical teaching exploration using Huan Le Huo Ban4,this article discusses the use of the morpheme teaching method in vocabulary teaching of Chinese as a foreign languageThe first chapter introduces the origin of this paper,the significance of the research,research methods,and the current research status and feasibility analysis of the phonological approach.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics of vocabulary and the common teaching mode in Huan Le Huo Ban 4 and points out its existing problems.The third chapter demonstrates the author’s exploration of using the morpheme teaching method in teaching vocabulary in Huan Le Huo Ban 4 from the aspects of teaching audiences,principles,goals,methods and et cetera.The fourth chapter provides feedback on the effectiveness of the author’s vocabulary teaching using the morpheme teaching method in the form of a survey and tests.The fifth chapter contains the author’s thoughts on the use of morpheme teaching method in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and the problems that exist in the implementation of morpheme teaching method.For example,it causes students to create their own words;it is difficult to explain the way of word formation;it is difficult for teachers to deal with the meaning of the morphemes and the meaning of words;It is also suggested that teachers should teach in conjunction with the key morphemes in the textbook;teachers should focus on the identification of synonyms;teachers should avoid choosing words with different morpheme meanings and word meanings;and teachers should interpret the cultural meanings of key morpheme elements appropriately. |
